If that ico will be successful like others did and it have been sold out in just a day, prices in exchanges are bigger mate. As many people want to buy that coin, demand also is increasing, the result is big price of that coin

Recently I take part in bounty companies. And I see that on the ICO the token costs $ 1, and after the coins are released to the stock exchange, it immediately becomes much cheaper. Perhaps this is because of the bear market or a large number of speculators who immediately sell coins.

Just to make sure that program is secured and has a good project. So it's better to buy during ICO because the price is low and has some bonuses. But choose an ICO that has a potential to grow in bigger value and search if it is legit.

As what I have observed, most of the token prices during the ICO are reduces in the market. So I think it is better to buy tokens in the market because it is cheaper than when during the ICO.

It is always best to buy tokens during ICO period. Specially if we can buy from the private sale or pre sale it is more profitable when comparing to Public sale. The reason is most of the ICO's are giving bonus during this time and anyone can get a huge number of tokens for the cheap amount. So personally i believe that this is one of the good profit gain method than the market purchase. But there are some issues as well and some of the ICO's are scams these days. Further we should do the research before buying any tokens from the ICO's. This is the main reason that most of the investors is buying tokens from the market exchanges.

yes, most of ICO now like that, token prices have a big dump after entering the market. I think, this caused by distribution to bounty hunter (airdrop and other bounty campaign) is done not gradually, so bounty hunter feel panic and sell it big scale.

I suggest to see the circumstances because sometimes it is better to buy when already in market because bounty allocation if too big can load dump when in share. situations like this should be a consideration

I think you should but during ICO if you are really interested in the project. As there are lots of bonus programs on the early stages of ICO. And if the softcap is not reached you get your money back.

I think better buy from ico. because have good price then after listed on market.
This is not true any more now. You can check the coin market listing and you will be surprised to find out that new cryptocurrencies coming to the market come cheaper than at the ICO price. It is better to buy after the ICO.

It is better to buy after the ICO. It really depends on the ICO itself, and not all the coin prices dropped after they released on the exchange. The key is to do a good technical analysis on the project itself. If you do a good one, you might find a good recently ICO like VLB. Myself is more kind of a person who buys at ICO.

If project is promising, a lot of bounty hunters will keep tokens due to expectation they will grow up. ICO investing always has risks, but that risk worth because you can get x10 for example.

It depends on someone's perception or prediction about the coin involved. There might be benefit of doubt for FOU[Fear of unknown]. Though, it's most wisely to invest during ICO, since most of the Dev gives handsome Discounts at that stage. So, make good research and invest in ICO that are better rewarding. If not, back out.

Perhaps you are only referring to some people who invest in ICOs with a smaller amount. The larger ICO investors do not wait for the coins to be offered in the market. As a matter of fact, they will be the early birds in the whitelists of the ICOs. But they do not invest the way many of us are probably investing here. Many of us here would not put the project in which we are investing under a very serious processes of scrutiny. I think we only take a quick look at the team or at the website or even at the whitepaper and then everything ends there. Large ICO investors would probably put everything into a series of more serious assessments. Because large ICO investors want to be sure that the selected ICO is not a scam. They invest huge amount of money into ICO tokens, but definitely want all of them back together with good profit. However it's always risky business. That's why I prefer to buy trusted coins on market))

There is just no one way of saying that we pick this one over the other. This is exactly where personal discretion is required. Many coins can be obtained for a cheaper price during ICO, but there are also many other that just gain a lot almost immediately. But mos of the times, it is best to buy before it hits the market.

There is not a clear answer to this, you will have to use your knowledge to judge what it is best for a particular coin, many coins can be had for a cheaper price after the ico but there are also many other coins that skyrocket immediately so you will need to apply your criteria and decide if you think there is going to be a huge enthusiasm after the ico, then it may be a good idea to buy before it hits the market but if you see the opposite it could be a good idea to wait after the ico. I truly agree to this one. There is no clear answer when it comes to when to buy before or after it hits the market. This is largely dependent on the behavior of the project. There are those where it is wise to buy before hitting the market, while many are way better to buy before it hits market. This is your call in general.

At present, the ico market is very bad, and many ico's encrypted money is lower than the issue price, so I choose to buy below the price of ico in the market.

It's always better to buy tokens/coins when they are in the ICO/PRE-ICO cycle. Imagine that you can buy top coin when it cost something like 0,2$ or 0,3$! After a while it can grow so much. So my answer is - ICO. My plans are to buy some ICO tokens like COINNUP. But, do your own research.

a lot off bounty hunters will sell after getting the coins/tokens , but if this was set in stone there wasn't investing in ico's anymore but i understand your tactic

It depends on the project and also on the type of investment you plan. If it's a short term investment and you are looking for making quick money, research whether the project is a good funded one. If it is, then the coin will most likely be pumped in the first day or two on the market and the price can rise 3-4 times compared to the ICO. Don't wait too long, sell your coins if you have 200%+ profit. If it's a long term investment than I suggest to examine first how the coin is accepted, does it really have the potential for rising in the future, and only after that consider buying it.

Now it is more profitable to buy altcoins after entering the stock exchange than on the ICO. First, the price of the stock exchange is cheaper. And secondly, you do not risk that the project will be fraud and will not reach the stock exchange. But when the market is green, then it's cheaper to buy coins on ICO than after entering the exchange.
