Buying when the project is already on the Market is usually better, because we have more information about the project, how much investors are interested. But some projects are so good that reach hard cap and the token prices is a lot higher when they hit the market. Smiley Smiley

If you do not have good information about the company and there is no possibility to participate in the ICO at an early stage - it is better to buy after the coin has been released to the exchange. So the risk of losing money is much less

I will prefer to buy in the Initial Coin Offering Companies rather than the market because it will be cheaper if you directly invest in their company.
Unlike in the market wherein lots of surcharges that imposed.

Most of the ICOs get dumped to half the ICO prices. Of course its better to buy when the coin goes on the stock exchange, that's why, a lot of investors have been losing interest in ICOs

Thats true. But there are more risks in this case. So if you have extra money for investing and you are not scared to lost it - buying during ICO is the best way. If ytou balance is not so big - use market - result is more predictable in this case.

To begin with, I carefully study the ICO, if the project really deserves respect and has a sought-after product, and does not have large discounts to the original depositors, then I boldly take on the ICO. But very often it would be correct to buy tokens after the market.

The trend of recent months has taught me that first of all, the project that I am interested in should be added to my bounty list, and then after listing at the exchange to purchase below the ICO price.

If you buy from ICO, you will buy cheap, but high risky. Buying on the market is more expensive but less risky. Anyway, the choice is up to you. #Egretia is also selling ICO, please invest as soon as this is a potential project, no scams, huge profits

The answer to this question depends on what goals you pursue. Undoubtedly buy at this stage is much more profitable, especially if there is a bonus. But this is also risky, because the project can fail.

Buying during Ico is risky imho. Most of coin prices are dipping as soon as hit the exchanges. Because of that buying from exchanges is gold  Wink

I think not all ico when entering the market prices will go down, but most ico already enter the market will down, if not want to bear the risk I think it is better to buy in the market

I think that the potential of the project does not matter now, and it is better to buy it on the stock exchange, since the price falls several times from the ICO price, even if it is a very good project and already has its own product.

That really comes down to how strongly you believe in the project because if you are confident about its success, it's best to invest during ICO where you usually get some extra deals. For example, I got some DIWtokens during the 1st phase of their ICO and got a 32% extra tokens, I think they're still offering some bonus now. So the decision is very subjective and depends on your judgement on each individual ICO, there is no golden rule you can follow.

I have noticed that recently the token price after the exchange falls, and sometimes very much! In order not to risk when investing at the stage of the ICO and not to freeze your capital for a long time, you can buy coins after the ICO, but not all, but only those that quickly collected hard cap and with a good road map, team and price!
I used to invest in ICO for pre-sale with good bonuses of up to 55%, but you need to wait too long! Now I'm more inclined to the above strategy.

There are advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of buying on ICO is that the price is really good but be careful to control the token to make sure the investment is a good one. IF you buy on market you have the insurance that it is already wanted on the market

Buying in ICO is too risky compare to those already in the market. But buying in ICO can provide a high profit if you choose a project that having the potential with a solid team behind it. Price of Ethereum is also a factor during and after the ICO. Considering that when you buy a token duribg ICO with eth at $800 then drops to $500 when token intriduced to the market.  To prevent being scammed, buying in the market is the better choice.

Most often, coins are more profitable to buy after ICO on the exchange. But if you need a large volume, then you need to buy at the stage of ICO, as buying from the exchange you will greatly raise the price.
