Of course, a finished product, application, platform or ecosystem is important for a project that launches ICO. For many investors, the availability of a ready project for the project is an important criterion for choosing a project. By the way, it is these projects that are more successful during the ICO release and more often implement their plans after the ICO, than those with only an idea or "white paper". There are too many opinion about ICO project, Some project came in this online market with his won product or some project came without product. ICO have a too many kind of product but without product ICO is not trusted so ICO project must be need to product it can be digital type of product or any kind of product.

In my opinion having something already developed should be mandatory for an investor to even consider investing in an ico, however we know that is never going to be the case there are almost no regulations and people are incredibly greedy even if they know that the project may be a scam they will still invest in it thinking they can obtain profits out of  it which explains why there are so many scams on the market.

Having a good working product is definitely important, for one it brings more trust towards the project itself. Members will feel more comfortable with investing in a project that has an physical product. If a working product is not available, then a prototype or a demo is needed that will show how the actual product will work.

Yeah, it is. One thing about having a product is that the coin you are investing in will have usefulness and you will at least be sure that you are investing in something real and the idea behind the product and how useful it is to the community at large and the global population at large is what would make it work. Any ICO without a product is more like investing in a company without anything to show for it, how will you know if the team will ever deliver on a promise if it is empty?

Of course it's very important for an ICO. For me I always looking for an ICO which contains some specific requirements, one of them is ICO should have at least Alpha or Demo version of product before ICO starting.
Actually, I think most of ICOs out there just talk about their concepts without any product developments, if they really want to make their ICO seriously, they will not be that hurry, they should work on product first

However, there are some visionary ideas which are worth backing even before a prototype is made. For example great ideas that spin-off an existing solution or product. Yes it is very important because if you don't have any product i dont think the project will be sucessful. It is like an making a thesis and propose the product you want to do. Project based on the products. When you do an projects you can think about what products can make people happy or it have a benefit
