Is product important for a project ? The answer to this question is simply yes . Because in crypto what you are selling is the idea and the idea is the product itself, so the product is the focus point for investing in any project.That is why good and experience investor focus their research on the purpose and usefulness of the project before committing their money on an crypto.

My feelings about this, is that often we look at marketing, and the smoothness of the projects, instead of looking at actual appliance of the products.

Case in point: WePower. Amazing campaign. Charismatic front man, beautiful website. Great communication.

But the product? Common. This will be beyond difficult to deploy in the real world. The obstacles internally in the energy business is obvious. The legislation, the markets that already work or are governed by states etc. Not saying they won't solve it. But the leap would be gigantic.

... And that was one of the good ones. Then we have the obvious AI products catering directly to the geeky core of the crypto community. I mean it is difficult.

the product is the primary way a customer can interact with the company, in exchange for value or service the customer will pay money and the circle repeat itself

if the product is not there or is bad, the customer wont pay or buy for the service, so end of story!

so thats why we need great products for ICO and cryptos project!

Most investors look out for at least an MVP before investing in any project. A working product with good repute is necessary as it helps prove to the prospective investors that you are not here to raise money and run away with their investment or fail to give them a product as you've promised.

Having a working product indicates that the team already is working on their project and usually, projects with a working product has a more realistic and applicable roadmap, which is necessarry to pull in investors. Of course a product is important for any project.  In fact it should be the main reason someone buys the token.  If there's no product, you're just investing in vaporware.  Keep in mind, some products do takes years for developments but as long as it happens, you should be fine.

For the ICO, it is very important because their token projects will be use as a utility token to attract more investors to support and purchase the products. If their commodities have no qualities and not attractive then for sure their projects sale will not going to success or even if they reach a hard cap for sure in the market their coins will going to be a crap.
