Interesting topic. I read a lot of useful information. Now I'm thinking of holding coins or not?

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years)  and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions? I think your past investment choices are not good, that's all. The near past of the cryptocurrency world has shown that, if you choose the right coins, you can get incredible profits. |

Look for high-profile, platform tokens if you want to hodl. I would recommend VeChain, Seele,... Or look for interesting apps for existing platforms, like NEX.

I read the forum and more and more convinced that I shouldn't be greedy. If you get profit, just sell 90%. The rest you have, just forget about it. 100% hold-tactic can leave you with nothing.

This is a great difference - to buy any coin for quick speculative trading profit or for long-term investment. Often these two strategies do not match.
Choosing coins for HODL we should seriously study the projects, teams and future in these fields.

Not all coins have a similar progress and potential to grow better and higher. Some coins are worth to be held, and some aren't. Although you've been holding the coins for a long time and nothing changes, it means that those coins aren't worth. You might sell them. It's better to hold coins that have a good potential in the future. You can do some researches and read a lot to get some bright and potential coins to hold.

Something is wrong with the coins you have why do you buy junk coins? Holding is the last trick for people who have no money anymore with holding everything will be good as long as the coins we have, offers great potential toward the development, at least much liked or used by the crowds that's all the point. |

you say like that because the coin price is still low. you know what you do is in the cryptocurrent area, so never say bad thing about some coin, just the stupid holder that hold some coin is bullshit. stupid or not its depend on what decide. and sometimes people will make wrong decision

Holding crypto is not a bullshit. It isn't not bad to hold this, instead holding this will help you gain a huge profit you didn't expected. Holding this really great and help you to learn on how to be strong facing anything that you've encounter. Holding crypto takes a big risk but it helps you to become independent. |

Holding is definitely not bullshit. I am holder, I invest with the intention to keep a coin a year or two or more if have to. The best think about holding is that you don’t really care about some market swings like now.

It also depend on what altcoins you have been holding because some of the token has a good sign to pump someday and a good investment for long term, I just hold half of every token that I have receive from my bounty rewards and save the half for long term.

I somehow agree with your statement but we should always pick top10-20 coins from coinmarketcap. Holding Bitcoin, Ethereum, Neo, Dash and Litecoin can be worth off in long-term. Like as you I also hold some coins that was really at good price 2-3 months back but now it has been reversed if I sold that time so now I can buy more at less price. But we can not predict perfectly. Always hold the trust worthy coins.

Holding those coins for that long would be bullshit,stupidity because these arent for long term holdings,clearly you didnt do some research from the past that is why you didnt have any good result,but holding solid long term coins could give you x1000 or more.It isnt the HOLDING thing but the coins you are holding.

Holding a good coin is a good choice. But holding a shitcoin for years, you will lose your money. It is hard to make a shitcoin to live for more than 2 years, even for moon.

It's our responsibility to choose the right coin so we will be profitable in the long run. Holding is good if you are a real believer of the crypto because you will see in the future when greater demand will be created, the price will eventually increase. |
