Holding depends on the kind of coins you are holding, whats their project plan? and do they have growth potential overtime? if you hold coins with little market use then chances are that you will gain little from them. chose your coins wisely.

Well it depends upon the situation but for my suggest, its hard to hold alt coins because of its price yes we cant understand the price of it and we dont know when the price is to increase or to decrease.

For me, I really cannot answer if it is good or bad to hold in the long run. I did regret something way back in January before it crashed. When my Datum tokens are worth $1,400 that time, I am planning to hold it for long until it crashed. I lost more than half of its value, so I ended up dumping more than $400 of it. So I lost almost $1,000 of its value.

However, I remained bullish with a few of my tokens right now because I strongly believe the bull run will happen starting May of this year. It all started with the good news we receive from the G20 Summit where they rejected cryptocurrency regulation.

Yes you are right even if not the coins in the top 10 or top 20 but as long as you've done your own search on that coin and really believe on their project, technology and team that will be huge in the future. You will be rewarded you are the one you will decide if that coins is worthy for holding or not.

I think the op has different strategy so he said that holding is bulshit.
For the other i dont think they have similar way how to invest the money. However, choose all of your comfort way and never doing like someone else but its not suitable to our strategy.
