Share price is now a hair shy of 0.10

I'm having such mixed feelings. Yesterday afternoon I wanted to put in an extra couple of BTC, forgot to do it (busy day) and now the price soared up. On the one hand YAY profit, on the other hand dammit no more shares.

Same here.
I am going to have do some math and see what price I am willing to pay for dividend reinvestment.
On the other hand, if it spikes to .50 or even 1btc I may be tempted to sell off a few shares.

And we are at position #99 of Eligius contributors: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/topcontributors.php
(and if we get the 220TH/s minimum we should be at position #3)

Let's see.

One question for Cryptix, if ever, is: if we get fractions of btc, shouldn't we wait for the amount to be higher and avoid spending too much in transaction fees to pay everyone?

(also, are we safe enough not to encounter any issue like SilkRoad2 or other "provider/wallets" where everything has been stolen?)

I did try to bring the share price a little down to be able to buy more and I've just got burned, I wont play this way anymore, now I am just comfortable with my current position.

anyone trying to get a share just buy it for the market value don't try to manipulate the price or you will just get burned...

Just stop investing with graphs and tricks, invest based in the company based on belief in their strategy.

Ps. That was you? Made me feel really bad for buying some more @ 0.8 :p

As I said before, I thought I would push the price down to 0.06, someone surprised me and bought through my wall. I cancelled my orders and stopped.playing. I don't care, I still hold more than I will ever need...

And who said that I don't Believe in this operation? I otherwise wouldn't invest... I still think that this operation will bring a kick as profit if cryptx manage the funds wisely in which I have no doubts...

yes Wink

and also the one putting 1200+

Edit: don't worry I've learned my lesson, I wont be putting any more walls, I forget that there is only 80000 share out there, I've just realized that they've cancelled the IPO, which makes my position even stronger.

anyone hazard a "back-of-napkin" guess at the value of these shares given expected hash rate?
Been thinking about that, so here is my simplified math:
if CryptX deploys this month all hashpower he has on order, that's 330thash, it will be around 1% of total network hashrate.
Suppose he manage to stay at that 1% with smart reinvestment.

Per day, there are 3600 btc mined - 0% network growth, or can I use 4000 btc/day to do the math?
4000 * 1% = 40 btc/day
40 * 7 = 280 btc/week

Some of that goes for operating costs, 35% of the profit for reinvestments. I will simplify again and use half of mined coins for that.
What' left is 140 btc/week for divs.
140 / 80675 = 0.001735 btc/share per week, or 0.09 btc/share per year (yield?)

If we use that yield to be 33% of the share price, that gives 0.27 btc/share
25% -- 0.36 btc/share

??

if only the 35% reinvestment will be used wisely to add more hash power at minimum costs, and if diff.factor will slow down after few months in which I believe it will, then yes, your calculations are close to reality somehow...

Hallo
You will be happy for a week or two. Later will be crying. Learn from the mistakes of others, not their own.
Please calculate a purchase, and not to be positive on very large profits. If the price of BTC will be upwards, you have a plus.
Some private orderers on Bitmine and Cointerra have order around 10-50TH and many small as 1TH compared what ordered group of Belgium "CryptX" 100TH .Do not forget to count penoty for each order.
First dividend maybe oke. Then a massive attack from the other, private investor.
bye bye $$$

why only the noobs troll? cos they ain't no noobs but missed the train dudes...

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash."  -  Child Harold - February 28, 2014

dude, you made my day. i was the wall of 370 that kept undercutting you. Then i just brought up everything between 0.06 and 0.07. sorry. usually i'd donate some money to you out of appreciation but considering the amount of shares you have, you most likely have a substantial amount more than me.

Feel free to do it again though! Wink
