Difficulty is rising very high, i too am worry and fear for the worst outcome, if they ship on time and with that i can use somthing to help to support my mom and upgrade the miner as well.  Those Th/ghs miner can still survive but 600 and below gigahasts will have a problem upgrading his miner with little earning.

Lets hope and Cross finger to the production and shippment for those who are waiting.   Wink

Have been visiting Bitmine for more testing and explicitly asked about that one: the rig uses 24V input, with that, the RSP-3000-24 delivers 3kW continuously.

zefir-

that power supply is good for europeans.. which power supply do they plan to supply for american and asian customers, where they dont have 240 volt a/c supplies handy ?

thanks

-- Jez

That's when an electrician is handy, just need them to wire a 240v outlet. I've got mine done.

Yeah, seriously. I see this a lot on various threads. If you can afford to buy one of these machines, just one, then you can afford to have a 240v circuit put in. You can DIY it for significantly less than $100 dollars if you have a 200 amp service. Maybe 5-600 if you need to upgrade your panel. This is NOT a big issue.

Hell, for that matter you could just use the dryer plug that's already likely in your house until you mine enough to replace it.

@giorgiomassa

As you´ve proven numerous times - you are no big fan of proper transparency - I am hereby prompting you to act as a CEO rather than a child and give us an update about the production progress (of Rigs + Desks) and issues you´re facing! It´s hilarious that you want to fob us off with a - "you´ll get your orders someday or maybe not"-attitude!

No video so far - no pr - no blogpost on your website - no explanation of what really was achieved as well as what is going wrong. Face it - you are doing an highly unprofessional and really awful job! I mean BFL-like or Avalon-style awful.

As btc miners we have to make decisions based on the success of you delivering in time - e.g. if we order miners from other manufacturers, how we plan our operations, power, etc.
Did you get that? "IN TIME" - this is highly critical and you´re talking about yourself feeling the fears of your customers?!?!
What on earth are you actually doing the whole time?

So for the sake of 1000´s of customers (as you were implying several times) - speak up - publish a statement/video - do something.

You are influencing highly critical/risky investment decisions of a lot of people! If you have issues - explain them - use the wisdom of the crowd but don´t hide in your basement!

To my knowledge, probably all EU customers can cancel their contracts with bitmine. Swiss OR forces the distributors of products for end consumers to comply to the laws at the recipients place.
EU laws allow for very extended cancellation rights in online sales, especially when product details are not disclosed. Details you can look up yourself with the details of you specific country. This means, you can send them a letter to cancel the contract and ask your money back with a cutoff date. After this deadline you simply go to your lawyer, the police (since you have been scammed, thats what consumers do) or even better just ask the Swiss authorities to issue an payments order, which you can conveniently do online and will set you back depending on the sum, starting at 30 Franks, which you have to pay upfront. The due amount has to be in Swiss Franks, and the cost of the "Betreibung" you can add to the bill. The online tool will print you documents you can sign and send to the local authorities.

https://www.e-service.admin.ch/eschkg/cms/content/betreibung/betreibung_einleiten_it/

This is no legal advice and to be considered "dangerous half knowledge". Also I dont know if this online service is working from outside Switzerland, but if it works it would be the cheapest and easiest way to put some pressure on the company.

(These EU customer protection laws are the reason why KNC terms of sale stated that it is business to business and they do not sell to end-consumers Wink)

At least they should have some troubles in the process becoming millionaires by cheating their customers/investors.

I wish the forum would bring back the newbie post count rule  Roll Eyes

+1
,

anything else to say beside that +1 ? I agree on the noob restriction, but it is not strange to see members assuming the worst when you didn't post any update what so ever..... some transparency will bring the confidence back...

We are shooting a video of the working miner and will release official press soon, but I can anticipate already that we're starting shipping next week, keep an eye on our news section for further updates!

I hope you do, I invested heavily in Peta-Mine when I knew that they have a deal with you guys, I felt confident that you will deliver and had no doubts, but now After all this delay it is starting to be disappointing, I give you guys credit for the AVALON mess, but at this point I feel the PETA-MINE operation is at the same position you were at when avalon failed to deliver except that we share holders are the effected.

my biggest fear is the Asicminer chips that will hit the market after 2 weeks, their update doesn't put so much confidence in me, add to that KNCminer and their smart move to protect their customers, in time we your customers are suffering the most, I don't know how will you compensate for all of this...

We fully understand and share your fears, however as we will start shipping next week we'll all feel much better, we have a huge backlog of orders and we're putting as many resources as possible to cope with the delays. We are not forgetting our customers just because we don't post news but rather the opposite, we don't have time to post news because we're all 200% focused on ramping up the production as much as possible.

Seems they have time to answer hunders of mails from unpleasant customers, but no time to post a single statement on their homepage???

Last week I asked them if they can confirm, that the CPP has already triggerd in my case.

That's the wishy wahsy answer I got from Antonio:

Quote
Dear Sir,
this is Antonio,
As was officially posted in our website our production has started and the first orders will be shipped this week.
I am sorry for the confusion, obviously is my fault, probably I was intending shipping (instead of production)
I sincerely sorry.
The calculations for the CCP will be done when an order enters the production stage, there will be calculated the delay according to our Terms of Sales and the extra hashing power will be installed.
Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks
for your interests in our products.

Production has started and they will ship this week.

Support and giorgiomassa have confirmed this.

So wait until next week without anyone recieving a tracking number ("device is on the way"), and then we really must assume the worst.

I heard from the support / Bitmine that my orders will be ready to ship by the end of next week. So finally it seems that they are getting things moving! If that's the situation, I'm fine. I don't care so much about CPP. Just wish to get miners asap as we all maybe.
