I got a question.
I didn't see the "make sure your save your wallet.dat BEFORE updating" and I updated my wallet to the latest version without saving wallet.dat
Everything seems OK.
is it possible I have any problem after 12 of November?

thanks

No, you shouldn't have any problems. But it makes sense to make an backup anytime - maybe your PC strikes or anything could happen also Wink

DEM goes bananas. Very nice  Grin

Little reminder, please go back in this thread a few pages and you'll find a lot of people insisting on it would be dead and abandoned. You find these negative people everywhere. Don't listen to them because they don't know. Many coins have been killed by the negative nay-sayers in that way (they talk it dead and people follow). Happy DEM is a resilient coin.
Bildzeitung coming next Wink

Make it go mainstream! It certainly can!

Good devteam, great work.

When a Dev team stop update topics for month, and coins have bug to fix, and when Dev let the coin crash from 80.000 Satoshi to 600 Satoshi, what do you think? That the coin is still alive?

If this new plan does not work I would probably start supporting Guldencoin if I was German just because it has a lot going for it already and merge between communities could make sense. Dutch and German innovation behind one coin, but goodluck to the new team, hope it goes well and country coins make a big comeback.

What a rise. Good luck Germany and congratulations. Guldencoin will rise in a few weeks probably, when great plans are announced.

Just to bring it back to your mind. Bitcoin was $1200 10 months ago and went down to $150 some months ago.
What do you think? That bitcoin is dead?

It's not a price question.
Bitcoin have an enormous community and have already passed the door of the real world acceptance.
BTC have a lot of other kind of problems (early  miners, pool owner who dump BTC, Gox Crash, China/Russian Ban etc etc etc....)

Don't compare DEM with BTC please  Wink

I hope DEM can return to the original value, because i have A LOT of DEM  Wink

dem had the problem of being the only coin people were able to withdraw from coinex after they went belly up so everyone traded for dem and dumped at cryptsy. Maybe that explains a lot too. People call coins dead without doing any research. Not writing an email to anybody asking about things or checking around. They just click profile of the OP, look when that was logged in last time and if that's more than 4 weeks ago they assume the coin is dead which it isn't in most cases. So it's really nobodies fault if you thought the coin is dead based on incomplete information and zero research. I knew it wasn't dead because i walked an extra mile to find out what the deal was. Some coins are more than just a thread on btctalk.  Wink

I don't have  a lot of DEM. I have a few hundreds which I mined at the beginning and I am holding since then.
I still have faith on it.

Incredible rise, I am a big countrycoin fanboy. Also invested in SLG but if DEM does this imagine what Guldencoin is going to do when people see what it has going for it already.

http://coinmarketcap.com/

DEM is now almost top countrycoin by marketcap.

i was on coin-base.info. it went down about 4 hours ago, unconfirmed earnings disappeared, the transfer to cryptsy 6 hours ago has still never shown up... i'm guessing it was on their side, like they didn't update their the system for today and i wasted better part of the day miner for free :/

I mined at them, too. Coin-base did not update their pool and mined on the wrong blockchain. Angry All the coins mined after the hardfork are worthless.
Yesterday you could see "the same blocks" (block number) being mined on coin-base and on ispace or supernova, but ispace and supernova were on the right blockchain.

Hello

I've upgraded the wallet some days ago and got synced, but I'm not sure if the staking works OK. The wallet shows my weight 104000, net weight 1276 and estimated time to earn reward 1 second. But this "estimated 1 second" hasn't changed since several hours, the wallet is running, synces, shows 1 second, but there're no PoS blocks. I have had the wallet opened for a few months 24/7 but closed it in summer because it was not staking. Now I've heard that stake works ok, but it doesn't seem so. Or maybe I have to wait a few hours more?

Yes, the staking works. But the wallet displays a wrong weight and a wrong time. We will fix it in the next update
The problem is, to many old CoinBlocks lie around to stake all in the next few days.
