No, i do not mine. This is my Wallet on my Win PC without Mining Hardware.
On the other hand, staking is CPU mining with a verry, very low diff. This is my last POS Block:

"profit switching " dumping the price of DEM Huh

need more miners = bigger difficulty,
bigger difficulty = better price
better price = bigger interesting,
bigger interesting =  Undecided

@ Rausvi :: the hashing rate seem to be proportional to the exchange rate. No problem there.
The gradual pace of growth looks healthy to me and seems a promise for the future.

Can somebody give me a feedback on DEM suprnova.cc pool ?

First week of mining on that pool I was getting close to 180DEM/day (last week actually) but this week I'm looking at 25DEM/day Sad

Which pool would you recommend ?

Thank you

Just a small update.

DEM suprnova.cc - 3 days = 32DEM

iSpace pool - 7 hours = 31DEM

I've updated to the new wallet and I am having some weird issues. Instead of the "xxxx blocks remaining" message going down the blocks remaining is going up?

EDIT:- Using an i7 3.1GHz and the new wallet is using 11% of CPU?

If you try to even select the wallet you get "not responding message". All my wallets run OK except this new DEM wallet?

Seems to be determined to hog all my PC resources and still not updating?

Any help appreciated as I have around 4 weeks of coins to synch with my wallet Sad

same problem, 1.1 wallet is hogging cpu and not syncing even with 8 active connections. Also, DEM supernova is giving me minuscule payouts for the past 7 days and have had to switch pools.

I tried deleting the DEM database and all other files in the %AppData% folder except the wallet.dat file and tried to download the whole lot again.

When trying to use the wallet before it stuck with around 1600 blocks, this time is has stalled on "23691 blocks remaining"?

I noticed on my i7 CPU peaked at around 35%, at the same time the wallet would also appear to freeze.

With no wallet working I need to pull all miners away from DEM. No point mining it if you can't get it in your wallet or trade it on an exchange Sad

Ach du meiner leibe!   Smiley I just started up the wallet unlocked it and minted two blocks in a row!  After waiting a year it is nice to see; the wallet is working fine.  There was a hard fork so you might check to be sure that you are using version v1.1.0.0-oro.  I'm showing current blocks at 287029.

Thanks for the reply LightSplasher. Wallet Help > About eMark says "eMark version v1.1.0.0-oro"

I knew about the hard fork and downloaded the wallet from their website.

I then realised it was the old version of the wallet so came back here and downloaded it from Github using the link on page 1.

After deleting all but the wallet.dat file 24 hours ago the wallet now says "~23898 blocks remaining"

The blocks remaining was going down but has been at 23898 since last night.

I've tried looking at the debug.log file but it is 1,963,432 kb!!!

Not sure what to do now?

Short of deleting the wallet.dat file I've removed all the old wallet files?

I've had troubles like this on other wallets. There maybe some nodes working on the previous version of the wallet that are causes troubles for you getting the right chain.  You can try using “connect” instead of “addnode” in your config file to force the wallet to download from peers you think are on the right chain.  I would not permanently run using “connect” though partially for a PoS coin.  Just trying it over again might work too.

Another possibility is that maybe there is some problem with the wallet file.  You could try downloading the chain with the wallet.dat file stored temporarily somewhere else.  Once you get things synced up correctly you could shut down the wallet, restore the wallet.dat file and see if things are working right.  If the wallet.dat is causing you issues you can also try things like saving out the private keys and reloading them into a new wallet file or running repair commands.  Just please remember to keep good backups of wallet.dat.  These are just my best guesses.  Best of luck to you!
