I am hearing this first time and I was shocked to read this.. I do not think mew will ever be stopped working as I believe this is the best wallet to keep it eth and erc tokens. It will keep on working without any problem.

so in case MEW disappeared one day, all you need to do is to find a wallet that allows you to import private keys and then do that.

Well, obviously this is a fake news and posts like this should be controlled. It is a good thing that the users/members are so smart to test first before they jump into conclusions or actions. To icohunter1024, I guess you need to try it yourself first before you spread some news that you cannot answer where the information came from. MyEtherWallet works great so I don't know where you came upon this information. People just need to be sensible about taking precautions not to get phished, but then that is true of all financial applications.

I think OP is not using MYETHERWALLET anymore that is why he is asking, I just login the other day, and everything works just fine but be sure to use meta mask or metacert and bookmark MEW so you can be sure that you are not landing on a fake Myetherwallet.
