Try to recover loss

Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease.So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again.It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?

Not the worst time, the worst would have been in early February when everything got rocked

This is correct and one of the only ways to play your situation. If you feel the market is going to tumble harder then you can sell with the intention to buy back, otherwise just hodl from here on out.

I've tried what your thinking of doing and it didnt really workout for me.  I ended up loosing more than what i initially had and it created a sense of desperation in me which made me want trade even more in an attempt to recover my profits. If i were you i would just hodl which is what im doing right now.

Which coin you're holding? If it's being in top 100 on coinmarketcap I think you should hold until all these dump ended cause coin in top 100 on coinmarketcap have very good potential so IMO you'll regret when you see these altcoins price increase right after you sold it all. For now I'm also stucking with altcoin but I'm still trying to hold cause I know it has very good potential

Because of the sharp daily price jumps of bitcoin, you can engage in speculation on the bitcoin / altcoin pair. If you are afraid of doing this to regain some of the profits on the swings, then HODL.  Selling is definitely worth nothing!

Trying to revenge from markets only can lead to one final: Trader will lose all balance/investment sooner or later.  Recovering loss is kinda to keep falling knife while you act emotionally. Market is always right and trading mistakes will make you wise person.. I always turn off computer in case of losing money  in market.

I think this time is not a good time for you to sell. IMO you'd better wait a little bit more until all these dump get over and the whole market begin retrieving maybe it'll be the time for your altcoin to rise back. You also can sell all your altcoin if you still want to but I think it's not easy to recover your loss at the moment when the whole crypto market is really difficult to predict.

If you want to recover your lost then this is not the right time to dump your coins because the market is on a wild swing. Why don't you cover your lost by buying more though?

I would advise you to just HODL and waited it out till the market goes green again. For me this is not really the perfect time to offload all your coins. You have lost already if you are going to do that. I suggest you buy more in this current situation to at least minimize your lost.

This is on how I do handle my emotion on where I do turn off my pc and even uninstalling my blockfolio app to prevent more stress which would possibly lead up on making foolish decisions instead. Market is very unpredictable and we wont able to trace or know on when to sell out or when the price would dump.If you can handle or make to get out before the dump then buyback then sell out in recovery then you are doing well.
Selling on loss is a very dumb thing to do.

I think its not a good idea maybe have some patience and wait your coins going up or you can buy at the dip price so that some of your loses can recover.
Itsup to you if you want to sell it all and again.

I dont like this idea. it is very late to sell your altcoins because altcoin market is its deepest point. people do not sell and dump them anymore. And they will start to rise again in next bull run. if i were you i would wait till market recovers.

An orthodox trader would have a stop loss price in place or in his mind when he made the buy order.
You are now in OMG territory where nothing can be seen rationally.
Some of the advice here, "double up" "wait a bit" "never sell anything" is frightening.

Currently every coin including bitcoin is at dumped price so if you will sell now it is quite unlikely to get them back because chance of getting another bigger dump is quite low. So if price will not go deeper than right now after you sell all your holdings, you can actually loss more than 100% possible gain.

Its better you hold all your coins for right now and sell them if you will see some sudden surge on its price. Try to make early exits before a bunch of other holders start to sell off..

Hold your coins if want to recover your loses wait for bounce again the price in the coinmarketcap, suggest with you if want to continue working in trading put an another investment,  the you now with have down price in the market forget it for a moment do not panic your investment get back again patience is very important in trading.

It is possible but you are going to have a hard time doing it since the market is so unpredictable now.

It keeps on going down and there is no way you can tell when it will be up.
Specially altcoins now, I got which needs a lot of waiting time before I can sell it back. I bought it at a really low price and yet it is still just a little profit when I sell it.

So it might take a week again before it climbs to higher value.

Maybe you should just wait for your portfolio to go up again instead of risking to sell it and then trade.

Why sell so quickly why do most traders nowadays give up so fast you at least need to hold on to your altcoins for a minimum of 6 months before you can sell it for a loss , because in 6 months markets can easily rise and if the altcoin you invested in still gives a loss then it's a safe decision to sell it otherwise don't sell unless you are sure price won't rise

It would be better to HODL for now and wait until market rise and stabilize. It is not the right time to sell your coins. We can see that coins fall again and it would take some time for it to rise, so better wait for that also don't try to get revenge in the market, it can only lead to more losses. Just try to make good profits, if it continues (you earn good profits) you'll recover your loss for sure. Just keep calm and have some coffee. Market will surely rise again anytime soon.
