The Unobtanium Consortium has opened a dialog with Coins-e, BTER, Cryptsy, and CoinEX inquiring for listing on their exchanges. We will keep you updated as things progress.

Not sure about adding to Coins-E, I think it is a "ghost town" atm...

We're just covering all the bases. We feel that there are a good deal of strengths to this coin including low reward, lack of stake, and being based on a recent BTC build rather than legacy code make it an attractive alternative for the ASIC market. We're more than open to any other exchanges who may be interested to contact us.

Couldn't we just vote for a price? For example 1 Unobtanium per 10 BTC!  Grin

Cheesy Now that I come to think about it If we take into account the 21 million to 250 thousand, 1 Unobtanium coin should equal 84 BTC!!!

Another question I would like to ask is: How will Unobtanium Coin be protected against malicious attacks without proof of stake?
What about forking? How can this be avoided? It would be interesting to see a moire thorough security analysis of the coin. It's usabilityand even a profitability analysis in the long term? Also: When will the coin reach it's maximum of 250000 coins? For example, Bitcoin will hit 22 million by 2140.

Stake has broken most of the recent coins, causing forking. This one will have to survive on hash-rate--don't see it being a problem with the sheer number of ASIC devices out now.

Full coin allotment won't happen for a LONG time after 612,000 blocks (the last block with a reasonable size block reward, after that it goes to .00001) and will have produced ~196K coins by then. I'd estimate a year or two, could be a lot less...
