Mine in this pool with extreme caution, I mined there for over 12 hours at an average of over 100 Gh/s and ended up (after his adjustments) with .07 UNO minus a fee (even though the pool owner said that there were no fees). Based on the difficulties and mining at miner's point, uno.pl, etc. I should have had at least 3-4 UNOs.

yes i'take this on me! i'was not correct read the UNO manual. i'was set in Pool-WebGUI 128 as reward Block. This was wrong! Yes, sorry! UNO give current only 0.5 in one Block. And nobody have lost him time and earnings. all the user-reward is stay in the pool and will payed.

if a pool only give 0.5 peer block. i'cant give 1x coin block bonus and also take no fee. if the most people don't give a donation. every-budy can calculate by him self.

i'do this pools for fun ... and not for business ... if'some what mine in a business pool - do it and pay for that. sorry this was my reaction to: Mine in this pool with extreme caution

so, everybody how accept my sorry ...
you are welcome.

Hey, there are a few people sitting in #unobtanium on Freenode if you'd care to join us. Could we maybe get the channel added to the OP (+ some dev presence)? Smiley

I notice the lead dev who started UNO has not logged in since Nov 28 and there has not been any activity on the GIT project since 2 months ... should this be alarming?

Is there any development activity on this coin?

sell or dont sell, dev or no dev, the coin will continue to exist.

I've tried to hold my tongue on this as long as I can, but I can hold it no longer. I simply don't understand this "hands off/ignore my investors" approach. I experienced the same thing with Noirbits, and I ended up dumping all of my coins (at a slight profit). I understand that developing and maintaining a coin is a very high stress operation, and I understand that we as human beings need time to recover and decompress. What I don't understand is creating a coin, creating a forum for that coin, and then leaving dozens of questions on that forum unanswered.

I don't care about mind games, psychology, or "strategy"; it is about being a good businessman, and treating people with respect. If someone spends their hard earned money investing in your coin, show them some respect, and respond to them...period. I understand that the developers are very busy: cut out 15 minutes of your day EVERY day to answer a couple of questions. If you feel scared that you will get bogged down answering a steady stream of dumb questions, then start at least start a blog. That is what the developers of Cryptogenic Bullion do here: https://cryptogenicbullion.org/#blog

I am a business administration major, and ignoring the people that invest in your business is not smart..in any sense. A blog posts every few days sends a powerful message to your investors that you care, and that you are still emotionally and mentally invested in the project. Imagine this scenario: a major hacking event involving Unobtanium occurs like what just happened to Dogecoin, and the devs are nowhere to be found. Unobtanium will drop to zero, and it will NEVER recover because why would anyone invest in a coin where developers don't seem to care about it.

I have held my tongue and tried to give the developers a lot of slack, but I was THIS CLOSE to dumping this coin today because I saw both Protoshares and Cryptogenic Bullion rise because their developers  are actually engaged. I sold my Protoshares to buy Unobtanium, and I now feel like a fool for doing so. I believe in UNO, but I personally feel like the developers are treating me and the other members of the UNO community like sh*t. I don't invest in a coin to play mind games with someone, I invest because I believe in their concept, and I believe that it will return value. Bitcoin is one of the most successful ventures of all time, and the Bitcoin developers DO NOT ignore their community. This proves decisively that you CAN engage your community AND make a profit.

In a final defense of the lead developer, I contacted someone yesterday, and he told me that the lead developer has taken a break. I sympathize with needing a break to relieve stress, but I think that I and other members of the UNO community are starting to vent to relieve built up dissatisfaction. If you read this, I think that you should realize that you are not alone. There are people in this thread who have offered to help you...STOP IGNORING THEM.

+1 - This isn't just an issue with UNO but a LOT of altcoins, and unfortunately they are just taking up space in an already competitive market.

All of these coins are competing for a slice of the consumers money and attention, and when they get it, they fumble and we are left with scenarios like this.

I started an unobtanium channel on freenode with k33k and we have seen ONE person pop in who reads this thread, its really such a shame that this community can't engage. I dumped some other coins to invest in a few hundred UNO and I can't understand at this point why ;/

To the gentleman above with your insanely ignorant sell or dont sell comment - I personally INVEST in crypto and use it as a vehicle to progress my wealth. You on the other hand may purchase something to ride it to ZERO, which it clearly sounds like you do.

To the devs of UNO - you have a great thing here, dont squander it on being lazy

thanks

I noticed this too, that's why I sent an inquiry to someone yesteday. He said that the developer is taking a break.

I hate to say this...it might be premature, but if the developers don't return and re-engage with the UNO community, it might be time to start thinking about finding competent developers willing to fork UNO, and continue development the coin. I'd definitely be willing to contribute towards a bounty for this end.

The current UNO website does not look good at all. Perhaps someone could create a new UNO website that looks modern. If we continue to get no response from the developers, we may just have to do it ourselves. I am a good Drupal developer, but I have very little free time, but if the need arises, I could probably develop a good looking website for us in a relatively short time. Perhaps we as a community need to start thinking along these lines.

Unobtanium is doing just fine on its own and doesn't need you mucking it up.

It was a joke...
