I HAVE a personal judgment against Mohamed Akram and against AT so i intend to summon him to court to explain where the money is if i don't get anything out of him.
If this is actually the case, then he has an extremely strong defence - in that he didn't personally deal with you and therefore isn't personally liable for the debt. That's the whole point of a limited company. You're wasting your time pursuing individuals in court because the law is on their side, and one way or another you will end up footing the bill both in legal costs and your own time will be wasted.

I think his case is unique though, as he pursued the company and the government officials were unable to reach the company as they had filed a non-existent address. From what others said previously, under UK law if this happens, they allow you to go after the filers of the company directly. This may be why the company changed its name and re-registered under a proper address this time. Why they haven't already confounds the mind. Their name is mud, their products are worthless, what are they holding on to? Just do it already, no one wants their near worthless miner anyhow.
I want my miner... I paid for it. I don't care if it never reaches ROI but I fucking want what I paid for. I can appreciate that--just remember, you still have customs to pay for.

Oh, well in that case that's good fortune for you. Alpha said they will be providing declaration forms of actual retail value of the equipment, which upset a lot of folks because that would mean the gear would be held. Unless your local doesn't have customs regulation, which makes it way easier.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. He already HAS A PERSONAL JUDGEMENT. A judge has ruled Mubasher is personally liable. This isn't a complex lawsuit, its a small claim. As I have pointed out before Mubasher made personal assurances in his many newsletters and forum posts ( https://alpha-t.net/news/). They were signed MOHAMMAD MUBASHER AKRAM this gives him personal contact. He has also made numerous statements and claims in the media ( http://www.coindesk.com/uncertainty-builds-alpha-technology-misses-another-shipping-deadline/), these make him personally liable if the company commits a criminal act. Very similar to this case http://www.rutherfordslegal.com/news/sue-behind-the-corporate-ve?page=5The Court will only consider piercing the corporate veil where there is (1) control of the company by the 'wrongdoer' and (2) impropriety, that is the use of the company as a device or façade to conceal the wrongdoing: Hashem v Shayif & Radfan Ltd [2008].
In this particular case our client had paid a substantial deposit for a second hand commercial tractor but the vehicle was not delivered nor was the deposit returned. The defendant said that the transaction was with a limited company which was ‘in the process of being wound up’. We disagreed as our client had been dealing with the director personally as well as the company.
Alpha is a one man band. Any communication you have with them is directly with Mubasher Akram. The company structure does not exist, there are no other employees just Mubasher Akram and he has made promises to his customers that he has failed to deliver. He has refused to refund deposits and has cancelled orders without consent. He has broken the law and is personally liable, the company is a facade. A Judge has already ruled on this and struck out his defence. Its a done deal. Derekman HAS A PERSONAL JUDGEMENT, now he just needs to enforce it. I know of a couple of other customers who have also received personal judgements against Mubasher and are now seeking enforcement/have been enforced and are awaiting payment. This isn't rocket science, but if you are just about to start now, you may already be too late.

I would say definitely too late. Time to act was May/June up through, maybe, October.

Time to act was May/June up through, maybe, October. yeah, I think I filed my stuff near the end of June, took a month or two to get it done. those that paid via CC or PayPal may still have a viable shot, others will be fighting over a rapidly dwindling pool of resources, more than likely. on the other hand, I'd probably still file. nothing to lose. few bucks in court fees to kick them in the balls would be worth it to me.

i dont have the energy to persui them, if i could somehow bridge the trust issue, i would offer 25% if somebody would take it on, but no way for me to stop the claimer from taking everything and disapearing...

I remember when this 'business' first started advertising their 'product'. I hope they actually turn something out but usually by the time I'm hoping for something like that I've learned it usually means we won't see anything. Well... I 'hope' they prove themselves and follow through on legitimate business obligations.

That isn't true actually. I don't want your money but in any action regarding your transaction you are still the person of record and you are the person who would have to sign any documents and be paid. If that's CC or paypal it goes back to you. If it's via court you are still the plaintiff. Handle it that way and they have to trust you not the other way around.

It's almost time for their monthly storytelling, where everyone gathers round to hear one of the 1,000 Arabian Nights tales. I love seeing this thread pop up in my activity list, I'm always excited to see what the next response is.

Last month they said there were more unexpected delays. You'd think after so many, they would be expected delays from now on.

Unofficial Update for Alpha-T:
Greetings fools,
We are proud to announce that we are days away from more shipping delays! This is all so that we can better serve the suckers that bank rolled this gravy train. We have finally gotten half of our chips to run correctly and have decided to hold off on shipping any units until they are perfect in every way. Currently we are burning up all of the existing chips because we'd rather mine with them then wait until they're running correctly. Once we've gotten all of the kinks ironed out we will send you all of our old crappy chips in units that will work for at least 60 days. If it fails within this time period, pay $400 to ship it back to us and in 6 months time we will get it replaced with another unit with your warranty picking up right where it left off, because we know these things will be lucky to run for a week without a break down.
We plan on shipping Q3 of 2015, but we aren't promising anything, we may choose to delay shipping until we are bankrupt as to avoid the whole order fulfillment nonsense.

Wow with the price of BTC crashing and expected to fall into the $100 price range as scared sheeple dump coins on the market. By the time Alpha ships a thing there won't be much left mining much of anything. Litecoin is going to fall below a dollar and already many people live where electricity costs so much that it would be cheaper to just leave their Alpha-T Viper unplugged by the time you get it.
Come on Alpha Sprouts, tell us some stories. Tell us how much progress you've made and how great you are. Then explain that you won't be shipping anything because of someone else's fault, delays, blah, blah, excuses, lies, etc...
