True. But also there is one more factor that has the impact on earnings. The number of people taking part in the bounty. It is hard to earn a significant amount of tokens from a trusted and very popular ICO project because too many people participate in it. Personally, I prefer spending my time on the good projects, according to my view, which are underestimated and not many people involved in it. There you can earn good amount of tokens.

My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?

Not really, some bounty campaigns ends early because of problems thus reduced earning but there are also some bounties who tends to finished their whole campaign period or even extended with still a decent reward due to improvement of their sales because of extensions. It is actually quite unpredictable in my opinion so I just complete the tasks and hope that the campaign do not turn out to be a scam.

I used to take part in bounty companies that lasted quite a long time and I can say that they paid quite well, not less than those companies that lasted only a month or two. Now I participate in the bounty of the company which managed to go for the last two weeks. I am attracted to this project because:
1)First ICO launched by a biotech company with a project related to AIDS research, and 2)INNBC Tokens will be spendable to buy classic iconic JDM cars from our INNBC JDM ONLINE GARAGE launched shortly after the ICO, so INNBC Tokens are backed by the value of JDM cars.

there is some truth. the amount of earnings is affected by many factors. the number of participants, the amount of capital, the number of coins, the value of coins for the ICO.

The thing about bounties is that the more people that are in the bounty then the more that they have to split it to get to everyone who participated so when the bounty goes on for long, it gives more time for more people to join which at the end means that there is more people sharing the bounty pool

I think this argument is straight away wrong. Only good projects pay good amounts of bounties so longevity doesn't matter at all. I really love how some million dollar projects pay like thousand dollars to its supporters.

I total agree with you, I don't like joining bounty that take a long time, if a bounty take a longer, the reward reduces because the longer the bounty waits, the more people join and the less the reward reduce, so the bounty I normal join these days, max is 8 weeks.

It depends on the supply of tokens and the number of participants, and the distribution is usually unchanged.

So you need to read every detail before adding ICO.

Usually when the duration of the pool continues to be the same or increase, but not much. Therefore, I come out of such projects.

There is no correlation to that effect. most bounty require participants to run to the end of the campaign.

it depends on the project we are talking about. In my opinion, a longer bounty doesn't necessary means lower earnings.

And it also depends if the bounty you're talking about uses the stakes system or a fixed price in tokens based in usd value for your work (better in my opinion).

If I can give you guys my opinion, I discovered an exciting one, which I just joined the bounty campaign: RAWG.

If you want to have a look and get some information, the ICO will start in a short period.

The ICO site is this one: RAWG. It's a video game discovery platform that converts your skills into goods and services.

You can earn tokens by playing your favorite games. The site is already working, with more than 50,000 games in the database and new games are getting added every day. This is the site: https://rawg.io/

Quite good looking, don't you think?

They have just started a very rich Bounty program for everyone who is willing to participate:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4147507

Another good thing, in my opinion, is that they pay you for your work a fixed value in tokens (with the value shown in USD) and they don’t use the stake system, so you will always know from the beginning how much you are going to earn for every task. And so you don't have problems related to the fact that: "more people are joining the less I will earn".

Have a look. I hope this information is helpful!

Many projects this year are unsuccessful, so it is normal for delays or failures of the bounty, and many bounty won't tell you when it ends. So the longer the time, the tokens in each share. The less you have.

Yeah it could be like that, because one week of these high ranks will be equal to a month of work for these low ranks like me,and most of these high ranks are joining campaigns which are about to end so they could get stakes without having efforts.Unfair indeed to those people who are posting for months ,and i hope the bounty managers will see this problem sooner or later.

I suggest you leave the ICO project too long because you waste your time. Better you follow a great sales with the ICO token at best, I think you will quickly get the results. ICO project very much and have a very good potential so if you can have a lot of options project ICO. And if ICO many extended because of a problem you should go.

In this matter, everything is well described by the mathematical term Coefficient of Useful Action. The longer the bounty, the correspondingly less reward per unit time. In a subscription company, the lower the rank, the more significant this gap will be. But in any case, the decision is yours.

If the project is successful, then you will earn a certain number of tokens, no matter if you participated 1 month or more.  If you have already undertaken this, then go to the end.  You will receive one of these things anyway.

it is true, the longer bounty, the more participants, the less reward, look at Abyss or Shivon bounty lists, there are already a few hundreds just signature hunters, thousands of Telegram,Facebook and Twitter. The projects are great but I dont think that juniors or members will get good money

This is not always so. But there is some truth in your words. I've been there too, a few coins that are worth nothing, and the work was done thoroughly. I lost time.

This might depend on the rank if you are higher rank like señior and also legendary the longer the bounty the bigger the reward it but if you are a member and low rank it is vice versa but this may depend on bounty as well
