Definitely this is not normal. It is not a correction it's a big crypto crash. Everytime BTC goes up, some kind of FUD will take down the price. Looks like whales manipulation is at peak.

i think we can not predict exactly what will happen at the end of this year, however there are only 2 ways that can happen, first is the price of altcoins wont recover and will keep dropping until below 200$ , the other way is the market will recover at the end of this year. However i still have big intendence to drop more, not recover enough because last year was a wonderful year for cryptocurrencies so it will be normal if the price stop rising now.

There will be never a year of the altcoin. Untill the day, which will never come, when all exchanges are pairing every altcoin with fiat money. But these will be never happend because it will be to heavy to handle. SO thats why there will be never the year of the altocin. It will be always just the year of bitcoin, and when bitcoin will rise, he will all join in. So altcoins are a good invest, but just when bitcoin is rising. I learned one thing in the past last months, When there a dump on bitcoin, sell all you altcoin or you will made a huge loss.

I can't really tell what will be the faith of crypto this year. Since February or thereabouts price have been falling and it might be as a result different news circulating about twitter and other social media banning crypto ads that alone is enough to send wrong signal to investors.
