This is true. Goldcoin is attractive to investors looking for safe harbor during periods of market uncertainty. I see it's up again today about 8% against Bitcoin. |

I don't know if C-Cex is even worth it. You can easily buy yourself on it with a BTC or two. They don't seem to be that trustworthy though, IMO.

Yes I no longer have a good feeling about C-Cex either. too much behind the scenes with maintenance means they are cleaning house for some other reason. With the US and China creating a lot of controversy more will happen. With that said Can someone tell why it takes so long to sync a new wallet with this latest version. The last wallet was good but my database was messed with this version. After all my issues I had to start with a new database. I too use GLD as a safe haven when BTC is in turmoil |

With that said Can someone tell why it takes so long to sync a new wallet with this latest version. The last wallet was good but my database was messed with this version. After all my issues I had to start with a new database. To the best of my knowledge, there were no changes made in the last update that would alter client sync times. |

I really hope to see a few more tabs in the debug console, there have been several improvements in alts & really helps determine how smooth the app drives down the road or flies in the sky (looks don't make it work better).
The GoldCoin (GLD) client tested 10 times better than many others, as many are built on a broken framework & have catchy graphics. GoldCoin has a solid back-end, can't wait to see an updated front-end for the users Wink
The dashboard is the most interesting development over the years, seeing how it runs (while utilizing & also sitting in idle) is what most look for in a test drive Wink Many don't care what the ride is or how smooth it is, but that it works & that is a flaw of all these applications. Is it the get from point A to B theory for some, when others look at the entire outlook & it's functionality.

My issue still is with this new wallet having to sync the blockchain and I'm stll synching since my last post. Now something is happening has I'm at 289,126 blocks to go from 160,000 when at the previous wallet. Now with v0.7.5.0 why is it taking weeks to move 1000 blocks. Can you officially post the database on the Goldcoin website? Wallet says Current number of blocks 414437 Estimated total blocks 703560 edit........all of a sudden it moves fast so did someone turn it up? Yes finally all set |

No one can 'turn it up' or otherwise directly effect your computer. Perhaps your debug.log file might contain some clues. Of course, your network might be a culprit. Glad to hear it seems to have sorted out for you! |

You should try to get GLD removed from Coinwarz. It often displays inaccurate data, which in turn gets miners joining in with huge hashrate, which then makes the security system kick in, resulting in horrendous numbers of orphans. I don't care for the security system at all, but Coinwarz is just making it worse. GLD is simply unmineable for me.
