I have opened the pool (gld.cryptocoinmine.com) on a test basis.
I will work on getting the coins distributed from the old pool/wallet over the next couple of days.
Just a reminder that the pool is now vardiff, so miners difficulty will be adjusted to get around ~8 shares a minute. The value of the shares is based on the difficulty the miner is set at.
Also, please check that your mining software is set correctly, I had to delete one pool_worker (not account) this morning as it had submitted ~3,000 invalid shares.
I tried to register and it said it was disabled

Donation pool refers to the fact that all pool donations go to the Goldcoin development fund.

Concerning the pool: gld.cryptocoinmine.com : All old balances have been paid out directly to payout addresses recorded in the old pool database. In the case where no payout address was present and the balance was over 1 GLD, the GLD has been credited to the account on the new pool with a transaction called Credit_PPS.
Remember all user information and pool_workers were transferred over, there is no need to make a new account if you had an account on the old pool version.

Thanks for getting the pool back up and running. Looks like it's working well again. (always been a very smooth pool) Mining solo with a small machine found a couple blocks even, rejects have stopped. Nice goldcoin peeps.

We have just received official confirmation that Goldcoin will resume trading on Cryptsy later tonight. When will I get approved to use your forum? All new registrations go through an admin approval process and then an email verification check. There are currently 30 users in the approved queue waiting on email verification. If you can provide your username I will see if you are in the queue.

I swore I wouldn't respond to the rants of cabinetmaker, but after this second one.....
1. You have no CLUE as to what a "51%" attack is. A 51% attack does not simply mean that somebody or a pool has over 51% of the hash rate. Bitcoin at various times had single pools that had close to 60% of the network hash rate, this does not constitute an attack. I suggest you do some more research and actually learn what the "51%" attack vector consists of.
2. I own the pool you so often bring up. It has been mentioned that my pool may have had over 50% of what was reported as the network hash rate from my local daemon, but that may not have been accurate. BTW the "huge" hash rate of my personal rigs is about 5 M/H, hardly a power house. I also had no advantage over a solo miner as the only hash rate used was my personal rigs. Over the course of testing before I opened the pool, I had mined about 56 blocks. Over a twelve hour period that would be 7% of the blocks found. Those coins went to help make sure the miners on my pool did not lose any coins...See #4.
3. I can also tell from your rants that you know next to nothing about software development. "Either it works or not" is such an ignorant remark, I am sure you have software developers either laughing or in open mouth amazement after reading it. Bugs do not always show up right away and often times show up during stress testing. This was especially true in the case of the new protection scheme, part of which is based on how many blocks are submitted in a certain time period before a node gets banned.
4. Though the pool lost quite a few coins due to alternate chains, I personally covered all the coins that were lost OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. The miners on my pool lost NOTHING. As for my reputation, it stands on its own, nothing you say is going to change it and you only make yourself look foolish when you attack it. As for other pool operators, there are the honest ones and the dishonest ones, but I find most of them to be honest.

after reopening gld and rebalancing we have lost 6k gld many users have a negative gld balance now. we are looking what we can do... I lost few times more, but that was problem with blockchains. It was good to recall good old mining days when blocksize was 500 It seems many of us tried to mine big amount of Goldcoins, but there is only 1 right blockchain.
