With such an ammount i would find 1 or 2 coins you really like. Make a list with all the coins you like. Remove all you can over time, research research research and make the list smaller. You can list some for some later buys and choose 1 or 2 for your investment right now. I would go with Substratum and Dragonchain if i only could buy 2 right now, but i guess we all have different opinions on that one.

My first buy was actually those coins in ICO's and in the last bull season i sold some and bought a lot more coins from my profit and now bought some back cheaper so i still have the same ammount of those, but also a lot of other coins. I still have a long list with coins i want to buy but we can't have 'em all. :/

GL out there! I really believe that almost no matter what we buy if we just hold a year or two, we will have a great ammount of money. (unless that project died :-D)

My strategy was to invest what I had (not alot) into what I saw had the best potential for 2018 (Safex) and now I'm using the appreciation campaigns as a way of diversifying my portfolio.  That said, I have the time available to do that.  If you don't have the time to devote to campaigns, then that option isn't open to you.

With a small budget I will focus on low prices coins/tokens like Tron or Verge. Tron will start the testnet at the end of March and will launch the mainet in the Aprile/May, so I think we'll see a good pump. For Verge I like a lot the project and devs are good. We all have different opinions, you should study some project and find what do you like.

For an initial investment of $500, I guess you can diversify into 10 coins max. Anything more than 10 coins will incur more costs such as transaction fees. In term of which coin to invest in, you can invest in any coin you think has the potential to grow. It does not necessary be in the top 10 coins.

A good amount of investment for 500$. I think it's good time to invest in Cryptocurrencies. However, investing in a separate kiosk, not investing in a single coin will enable me to generate more profit and new coins in me.

This amount is good and it is an opportune time for investment. You should diversify your investment portfolio and invest in those coins that are ranked in between 20 to 50. Don't invest in a very low ranked coins for the sake of more profit, as those may fail in future.

It is worth add to the above what has been said that the coins that can be in the future die not traded on such exchanges as Bittrex. I'd save $50 for the KNT ICO in ten days (countdown ->>>> https://kora.network), they're ten cents per token but gona rise a lot right after ICO when it gets on exchanges

I don’t really think is a good time to invest in ICO’s though the amount you invest might be as small as 50$. Many ICO’s nowadays are scams and frauds that are made to rip people off their money. Many of the ICO’s don’t have proper road map and utility in the blockchain market.

Also the news of application of regulations for launching of ICO’s have made the tokens fall usually 20-25% of their price after launch then their price at initial coin offering. People dump the tokens as soon as they get listed on some exchange and if you are not quick enough to do the same, you might end up losing your investment.
