In my opinion, the main strategy for $500 should be the same as for $5k or $50k:
1. some of your funds should be in current coin(s) from top 10 - it is your savings and low risk investment
2. some should be for investment in ICOs - high risk investment, but with higher possible profit
3. and the last part should be in fiat or in one of the stable coins - reserves for mobility

Depending on your strategy and willingness to risk, you should decide the percentage for each share of your bag.

What's the best way to diversify starting with $500. I am overwhelmed right now with all the coins i am interested in. I'm just not sure if i should be only focused on the top 10 or can i pick xxx coin that's ranked between #40-#150. I can say i like about 15-20 coins/tokens i just feel that's way to many for $500. I would like to put half in blue chip coin and invest in some alts with the remaining half. I was thinking put $50 into 4 atls???

I would suggest you to buy lympo, bearmarket really affected its price but they will be releasing their mobile apps this Q3 so i think your $500 might be doubled or tripled in the next few months.
