IS ETHERDELTA SAFE?

A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

Etherdelta is not safe anymore in my opinion, and I don't know until there is still traders doing trade in that platform despite of what happened were it was hacked and attack by the hackers. Perhaps forkdelta is almost the same with the etherdelta at least Idex is much good than Fork and etherdelta.

Yes, it has been fixed now but I still prefer forkdelta to etherdelta. The one I hate most is Idex

As far as I know now everything is okay. And there is no opsnosti in using this exchange. So you can safely enjoy it, without fear for your ETH

It should be fine. But considering the hacking (in January if I recall correct), still awful design (even though it has earned millions so far), lack of useful options (see gain: even though it has earned millions so far) and any kind of support (yes I understand it's decentralized but still offers services for cash), you'd be better looking somewhere else. But if your coin is only there you shouldn't be afraid, just don't keep any cash there for long.

Etherdelta is decentralize exchange, so it has some risks. Maybe you will be lost your private key.

The fact is EtherDelta is one of the safest exchange, even safer than Binance or even Bittrex,
Why?
Because it's decentralised and using smart contract,
But for me myself I prefer IDEX rather than ED or FD, also decentralised and using smart contract, but with lighter UI and better UX

I agree with you, but the problem IDEX has minimum amount for trading and withdraw, so for small amount, have no choice use etherdelta. In my opinion etherdelta still safe for use. For some people have no choice to keep using etherdelta even we know, loading website also a problem in there, fee is more higher and interface worse compare other exchange, with limited tools, maybe you still can use for passing by

In my opinion, EtherDelta is not safe and the community is low, and sending large amounts of money is not safe. And in particular, EtherDelta only allows ERC20.

Yes of course this site is really safe now because i face the same problem back in a days but they have fixed the problems and now it is completely safe to tradfe tokens. I am still learning to place the order but as far I know it safe to use the etherdelta sit for the selling and buying of all kind of tokens.

Yes now there is a replacement with forkdeltha which for me is safe and there is no problem there, it was once had interference in etherteltha and that time quite often happened interference and many people feel disturbed and uncomfortable because there is someone trying to break into etherteltha and stole a little eth d in that I myself also less comfortable there. But with the replacement of the new forkdeltha now I already feel comfortable in that market and as long as I sell there is no interruption and not too long in react and its application becomes not too heavy. And very easy to sell and buy coin.

NO!!!! i am not recommending etherdelta anymore!
i am pretty sure you have heard the forkdelta, this is much better now or even IDEX.
if you can't trust then then wait for better exchange.

As far as I know there were several cases of hacking the exchange EtherDelta when people lost their money. Now there are no problems, but there is no guarantee that the hacks will not happen again.

I never trusted this exchange. And I would not recommend anyone to store tokens there,let alone ETH.

in my opinion etherdelta is no longer safe anymore and you should move and do not let you trade there again because it can make you lose.

Any source to back up this info? I haven't been using etherdelta for some time now, last time I did it was safe.
I find idex exchange much better and faster to use so I use this exchange instead. I am not big fan of decentralized exchanges because of huge fees, sometimes I don't have any other option.

for now I think etherdelta security is good, indeed a few months ago had down can not be accessed, until created forkdelta, I always use etherdelta to conduct transactions of token selling ERC20

Etherdelta is safe likewise not safe because it is a decentralized exchange. Before you can trade someone will need to input is private key before trading can take place. The private key will store in their data base and it can be hacked and that is how I lost me 4ETH in one exchange.

no account is safe from hacker. mostly we must be carefully in every campaign we are going to sign up with. most site were fake and scam just create to hack our wallet.
