I heard it's not safe anymore. Why do yall still use that exchange after 2 times of being cracked? Risky chances to get stolen. At least, continue use it but Make all transactions with high gas and separate wallets.
not all bad, I still use it to send a number of tokens and sell them.
fees are expensive but worth the speed of the transaction. there is no serious problem.

I think Etherdelta is now just part of the history of exchanges. An exchange that taught other new exchange to tighten up their security features and not mess up like ED. Avoid that exchange guys because it is just like Polo that has gone worst.

I think is not safe to keep on any exchange long term. In this case, I would not store it on the linked wallet either. It costs very little in gas to transfer to a wallet that is never linked to any sites or exchanges, just to be extra safe. There isn't really anything wrong with the wallet itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack.

The safety of your assets is a shared responsibility, between you and the exchange.

Etherdelta platform is safe and secured, it us built on a smart contract, and all conversions are only sent to the registered address.
Protect your personal information.

I am using ForkDeltah instead of Etherdelta. At first it was difficult to order, but once you get used you can use it normally. There is no trouble at the moment.

This is one of the safest exchanges, in its work does not participate people, all operations are automatic. I am sure decentralized exchanges have a great future.

Etherdelta is a safe and reliable exchange, despite the attack on it DNS a few months ago. To me, it is the easiest and user-friendly with the instant payout on orders. Right now it has been worked upon to deliver it purpose without hinges. I enjoy it, when you can even exchange some unlisted coins

I believes no one would save their token on etherdelta. It's an exchange site not  a wallet
I don't have good experience with ED, when i was using it, it was too much lag and i don't like when i want to execute my order.

A few months ago there was an issue with Etherdelta and some people lost their ETH and tokens.

Has the issue been fixed, is it safe now?

Recently, Forkdelta exchange are having some trouble on pending transactions and their other rumors that it had been attacked by the scammers or hackers through the used of pished etherdelta site. For now, I think it is safe again to use it because the exchange's management team already fixed those issues and the minimize the transaction fees.

Hello, I believe that even when we are told that everything is safe it is still necessary to have a spare option. Since attacks on such exchanges occur periodically.

The main complaints we hear about EtherDelta and ForkDelta are the poor user interface, which historically led to expensive mistakes where trader's inverted the price and amount. These fat fingers were quickly swallowed up by bots. Aside from the clunky UX, ForkDelta also suffers from order book lag, so when you try to trade at the best bid/offer you get an error "Somebody has already traded this order".

Both EtherDelta and ForkDelta also lack some basic features: 1) View all your balances on one page, 2) View and download your entire trade, deposit and withdrawal history (currently you just see the last few days).

That said, the EtherDelta smart contract has proven itself rock solid and secure over the past 1.5 years. Only the private key owner has access to their funds in the smart contract. Cases of stolen or hacked funds have usually been the result of phishing attacks where the private key has been compromised, e.g. the user visits a fake website.

Security of your wallet is essential, always use MetaMask to authorize your transactions when trading.

Our team have built GammaDEX on top of the EtherDelta smart contract. You can use the same wallet for trading and freely move between GammaDEX, ForkDelta and EtherDelta. GammaDEX combines orders from all three sources and relays new orders back to FD and ED automatically. This increases the liquidity pool and improves the chances of your order being filled.

Some features GammaDEX adds to EtherDelta:

  • My Balances - View all your wallet and exchange balances (tokens and ETH) on one page. This is a great way to see tokens you didn't know you had, e.g. airdrops.
  • My History - You can view and export your entire trade and funding history from the very first deposit made to the ED smart contract, through to the most recent trade.
  • Up-to-date Order Books - We constantly refresh our order books from the blockchain, reducing the possibility of seeing stale orders. If you see an order in GammaDEX it's tradable.
  • View only mode - You can use the above features and try out the interface without unlocking a wallet using view-only. Visit: https://gammadex.com/#!/view/[insert your public wallet address starting 0x here]

Get started with GammaDEX at https://gammadex.com/

We've published this article showcasing some of GammaDEX's features: https://medium.com/gammadex/manage-your-etherdelta-trades-in-gammadex-an-advanced-token-exchange-18131f378ad7

No, it's not really safe to enter your private key on a website or use one generated by a website. There isn't really anything wrong with the wallet itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack vectors. Etherdelta smart contract is safe, but as people found out last month, a DNS hack caused people to get redirected to a fake ED page where any private key they entered was then emptied of funds. You could also get phished by getting linked to a fake site from places like reddit (misspellings like etherdetla.com
