etherdelta is very safe and can be guaranteed for transactions, maybe now the problem is that the transaction is rather late, understandable because etherdelta almost certainly has most of the new altcoins, so events like this become accustomed. about security ... still arguably guaranteed. or maybe you want to try the twin, forkdelta, exactly the same as etherdelta.

I have used forkdelta a number of times to buy tokens at highly discounted prices before they got listed in official exchanges.  It is really a good bargain to make 10x when they get listed officially.  So far, I do not have any security issues.  I used metamask to connect my wallet.

I am an Etherdelta user for 2 years and I still feel safe buying and selling tokens / coins there but there really is a case of losing tokens there that happened to my friend he lost the token without clarity.

Haven't used etherdelta this year but I used it a lot last year. At a time, there was an update which also affected forkdelta too as they are identical. I heard of the hack on them but I think they're fine now.   It's one of the earliest DEX exchanges that I started with.

Yes, using forkdelta its better than etherdelta but, as you know that forkdelta is a fork version from etherdelta, just use etherdelta if you want the original one.

fork version ? i didnt know that exhanges do also have a forking  . what i thought all the time is that crypto coins are the only one that can be forked . @sensei stupid  , forkdelta.app ? is that the original domain name for fd ? if im not mistaken , it was forkdelta.com before  . hmmm? maybe they'v changed its domain  just like what blockchain wallet did   . anyways  , etherdelta is safe but make sure that we will only visit and bookmark the original website and forkdelta is also a good alternative if other coins cant be found on ed  .

I think that is 2 different site with different domain. Only it is interface which almost same. But both of is is decentralized exchange and keep aware if we want to put our private key in any platform.

if in my opinion it is very vulnerable to theft, if it is forkdelta and etherdelta, I have to use privatkey to enter the exchange, but I have been using the exchange for a long time, it is very safe but yesterday there was a problem but it has been fixed.

Etherdelta is absolutely safe in as much as you did not give out your personal information to someone else and you click on the exact site and not just the clone one, I've been using etherdelta and I can testify that it's safe

Not to say that Etherdelta and Forkdelta are safe, but I personally had no problems with them.
If there were problems for traders with these exchanges, we would have known this for a long time.

It seems like a lot of members have left ETHERDELTA since there was a problem at that time even though the current conditions are normal but most people are currently more inclined to exchange on idex and forkdelta but I am sure there are still many who exchange at ED because they feel comfortable there.

Yeah you are right,  lots of volume are off etherdelta,  and they have moved to forkdelta and idex, ever since there was a problem then with etherdelta, it has seen lots of decline in volume but it's still safe to use

Etherdelta is safe. The last time was attacked,but their was no loss. After all, it was executed by contract, unless the hacker can break the contract. Etherdelta continue to developed their security.

Sorry but I don't agree, they would have still retain their good reputation now if there was no loss during the hack.

People were wrongfully visited on a phishing site and put their private key, though it could not be solely ED's fault but not all users have advance knowledge on this phishing scam, so those who got victimized and loss their money, will not surely gonna trust ED again.
