Has anyone been able to get BF and BE running together, in any configuration of power, using Win7 and BFGMiner 3xx ?

                Knicknac

on your command line  you have to  specify each com device

example

"bfgminer.exe -o poolurl:port -u username -p password -S bf1:\\.\COM3 -S erupter:\\.\COM4 "

you can run more then one of each ,  just have to add each of them  like above.   I currently have 22 BE's and 2 redfurys running together.

That's great, Philip, thanks so much, and a huge thank you to the other members.

Went from 2.14 to 2.67 as easy as that. If I can do it, anyone can.

yeah my post was a quote of I think bitter dog's photo.  it is really easy .  I am pushing 2.68 now.  with 1 stick.  these furies want for power I am going to use an adjustable meanwell psu and an anker 10 port hub I will try to get the usb 3.0 hub to be at 5.1 or 5.2 volts a port and .9 amps each.  I have moved my stick from 2.29 up to 2.68 and I just sold off the rest of my AM sticks.  I pulled them off the hub causing my  BF to jump from 2.62 to 2.68

I am thinking they really want power.

Im running 36 Red Furys in one of those Asicminer 49 port hubs and 9 in a Anker 10 port hub they are sucking down every watt I can throw at them.

Can someone please tell me how to make the Red Fury, Blue Fury and Nano Fury sticks work with BFG Miner for Windows 7 Pro 64.

I do have Block Erupters as well (the cheap ones). Never been able to get more than 1 Blue Fury to work and that went from sick to dead within a week so sent it back to seller for RMA.

I really don't like CG Miner.  So far the only way I've been able to get them to work was with the help of RW02? member via the newbie page.

Had to use ZADIG to convert them onto the winusb driver, can't seem to change them back to the BF1.ini file now though. Although with the BF1.ini file from the mediafire download + a Virtual COM port download (the one Bitminter beta said to download) + a WCA driver to stop the computer crashing every morning they still weren't being found by BFG miner.  It would see the Erupters but that was it.  Can't use the Fury sticks at all with Bitminters java miner - they just keep coming up as "timed out".

I'd like to use BFG miner as I can have the Verbose log running and Avast Free doesn't seem to mind BFG whereas it keeps trying to delete CG. CG also has problems logging in sometimes for me where it keeps failing to log in.

Running the Erupters on 2 hubs, 8 on one, 1 on the other - ordered 6A transformers to replace the 4A ones that were supplied with the hubs so when they come I'll have a hub free to see if they'll work on there.  Also need to install a 4 port pci-e x1 usb 3 card so that I can move the hubs from usb 2 to usb 3.

The pencil trick has helped a fair bit but getting a lot of faults listed - sometimes a lot more than accepted work.  Worst offender is 1 of the Red Furys that has done about 100k accepted to about 34k HW.

The USB2 ports on your PC support miners better than USB3

I'm running many BE's, 2 RF's, 1 BF using separate instances of bfgminer 3.6.0 one for the BE's and one for the BF/RF.  The BF/RF are on a separate hub (but I don't think that this is essential).  On the same hub of the BF/RF there is also a Drillbit Thumb (also using the Bitfury chip, but with a different interface and driver), which runs under cgminer (and Zadig installed winusb driver).  This combination has been running well for days.  The only 'hiccup' was with detection of some of the RF/BF after restart, which requires removing sticks, re-insertion one by one and re-starting bfgminer.  Also running the device manager 'cleanup' procedure (see [url]https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300638.0]ich requires removing sticks, re-insertion one by one and re-starting bfgminer.  Also running the device manager 'cleanup' procedure (see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300638.0) helps.  All this runs under Win7/64.  I described the batch files used for the different instances earlier in this thread.

Cheers

I've had my BF1s running on minepeon with my raspi for a while now, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating that they tend to die and require pressing the reset button or unpluging/replugging and rebooting the raspi to get them hashing again.

It seems to happen when minepeon crashes and my arduino does a hard reboot on the raspi to prevent downtime.

PLEASE HELP. My bfgminer 3.6.0 is no longer detecting my bf1 redfury asic it was before but now it isn't and when I enter the M+ commands that I think I am supposed to use it isn't detecting it. My computer detects it but the mining software isn't PLEASE HELP this was very expensive.

This is what I get with all of them. I ended up using CG miner which I'm not keen on. The machine will see them but BFG won't detect them and Bitminter probe = timed out.

Any updated peon start-up commands ?
Have been using :

Code:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer-fury -S bitfury:/dev/ttyACM0 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB0 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB1 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

For the last few days.

This one can only run 2 BE's and a blue fury at the time being.

Any help ?

I am using RPI with d-link hub, MinePeon 0.2.4.2, bfgminer3.6.0

Code:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
/usr/bin/screen -dmS miner /opt/minepeon/bin/bfgminer -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB5 -S ICA:/dev/ttyUSB6 -c /opt/minepeon/etc/miner.conf

Running 2 BlueFury just fine but I cant get any BE's running.
Do I need to use a separate RPI or hub for the BE's?
Or how can I change the start-up command to run all?

                Knicknac
Running a mix of BE's, RF/BF and other devices on Win7/64.  Each type is on a separate instance of bfgminer (or cgminer for the Drillbit Thumb which doesn't have bfgminer support yet).  Just using the erupter:all for the BE's and bigpic:all for the RF/BF devices.  When the 1st instance is running (in my case BE's), the 2nd instance of bfgminer has a brief message that some COM port (which is used by the 1st instance) is not accessible, but otherwise it runs fine.  Each instance is invoked by a simple batch file, but you can probably also create a standard 'short cut' where the target line has the same parameters.

Has anything ever happened about a newer firmware?
Currently we have no plans to release a newer firmware. The fix that was talked about was incorporated direct into bfgminer
