I’ve already filed a complaint with FinCEN (U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network) and IC3.gov.
It’s very simple, fully online, takes just a few minutes, and it’s directly under the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

If you want to file your own report, go to IC3.gov and for FinCEN: https://fincenusgov.org/need_assistance.html I already did and it took me a few minutes. It is all online.

In my opinion, doing nothing and waiting until the platform disappears with the bitcoins is the worst option.
Filing reports creates an official record and increases pressure - They have the authority and resources to compel them, freeze accounts, etc.

Don’t worry, no one will contact you — they handle it internally.

As crazy as it sounds, there could be a second chance for FUN token to shine if there is some casino out there willing to give this token a chance as their utility asset, but that is unlikely to ever happen, considering the team behind FUN has something to do with Freebitcoin, and they all have earned and very bad reputation.~

I think they can fix that and I hope they will. As they write on their site, "We expect withdrawals to be enabled by early 2026." It means there's not much time left until we can find it out. Freebitco.in owes me $40, which is much less than what I have earned on the site, and, so, financially it wouldn't be so catastrophic if they pay out nothing eventually, but it would be a moral trauma for me to know that people that had been so good in the past turned into scammers.

I think you could call yourself as a very fortunate person, keeping in mind you have not gotten net negative money from all this fiasco and exit scam pulled off by these people. There are some users here who are desperate to locate the staff of Freebitcoin, surely because they have lost important amount of money, still forty dollars can be a blow depending where you live and the state of your local economy.

I am not directly talking about the state of their refunds, because even if refunds are carried that does not mean there will be support for FUN token in the future .

Dear user, after more than 12 years in operation FreeBitco.in has made the difficult decision to shut down because of widespread abuse across the website.

If you are a genuine user, please do not worry - your funds are safe. We are currently in the process of sifting through genuine users and abusers which is taking much longer than expected because of our tens of millions of users.

As a part of this process, the website will be replaced by a shutdown page in the coming weeks and after that we shall start the process of migating genuine users to the new shutdown database where they will be able to login and initiate withdrawals of their balances.

after few years with a lot of accusation, the legends now come to an end, before I'm joined this forum I remember I joined FreeBitco.in first to claim their satoshi faucet. I wish they are keep their promise to pay all user balance before fully shutting down. before it happens, freebitco.in support  must be active here till all process is done. but I don't know if they are run away before it happens (hopfully I'm wrong).

Why would they send their money to Binance when they know its a centralized exchange and can give away their details easily if a legal case is against them.
If freebitco.in has decided to steal their users' funds then they would have figured out a way on how to launder the money and so they won't leave a trail behind.
The best thing here to do would be those people who have high amount on the site file a legal complaint against freebitco.in and only then the authorities might consider taking an action against them.

Binance is famous for its shady practices. Binane has been helping Chinese citizens to bypass KYC verification. Maybe Freebitco paid enough, maybe Freebitco withdraws it on an account that's KYC verified by an absolutely different person, who got a share of some money in exchange of submitting KYC documents (too many people don't care about their privacy and KYC documents if you give them a few bucks and that's a very sad situation, it shouldn't be like that).
Btw who is in charge of FUN tokens being traded on Binance? I mean, who gave Binance FUN tokens in the wallet? I don't know how it works but I believe that Freebitco isn't just trading on one person's account, it should probably be more official.

So it won't be shocking to see them pay an exchange a huge amount just to get their funds out clean.
That leaves no other choice for the users other than to leave an official complaint with the cyber crime department.
Even that won't be of any use since those people won't be able to help the users in any way.

Imagine, all that time the wallets have been syncing, and now they are going to perform a migration. I guess it will now take a year or two for the migration to be completed after which we will know what the next step will be for those who have their funds locked up in the casino.

I know Binance has been caught being used by criminals to launder money in the past, but I am not sure how willingly would Binance staff help those behind Freebitcoin to get away with money laundering, though.

If something people in this thread have figure out by keeping an eye on their wallet is Freebitcoin exchanging their Bitcoins for Tether, by using non-custodial exchanges, they do not need the help of Binance if they opt to go for several small exchanges in order to turn their Bitcoin into USDT and move it around until one cannot track it down anymore.

Whatever the case, it is very cynical of them to act as if they were doing the right thing, when in reality they were withholding money and disabled withdrawals for months.

Definitely not all of their customers are going to receive all of their funds held on the site as per the announcement they posted, they clearly said they are sorting genuine users from abusers, and the genuine users will be moved to the shutting down version of the site where they will be able to log into their account and initiate a withdrawal of their funds, and what I understand by this is that the abusers will be weeded out and whatever balance or fund they had on their account is possibly gone..

The issue now is, how are the users to know how they are going about the sorting of the genuine users and abusers, what if a genuine user is mistaken for an abuser and his funds withheld, how does he appeal the judgment?
Will there be even a chance or opportunity for users labeled as abusers to appeal the judgement?
