If freebitco.in is really a scam then how come there are more than 2500 players every day! Roll Eyes Just play multiply and see how many you are! Especially since they have a digital currency called funtoken which is backed by millions of dollars and apart from that btc transfers are done with small fees, freebitco.in probably moves a lot of money! This can't be fake Huh
Where do you see that it has more than 2500 players every day? I can't see that statistics and also consider that most of their customers are bots because of their faucet and affiliate system, which is very profitable if abused. I also think that if they state somewhere that they have 2500 active players every day, that information shouldn't be taken seriously because they can easily fake it. I'm sure they fake their lottery, lambo and every contest because there is no way that someone gambles on Freebitco and wagers multiple Bitcoin when they have so many problems for over a year. It's all fake.

If it is not a scam, why can't I withdraw my FUN tokens and my BTC? I had those stupid FUNs for more than 4 years and when I try to withdraw, they disappear.

The site have been one of the most trustworthy casino for a very long time as you may possibly have known, but since late 2023 or early 2024, things began going south and amazingly and till this very day, no one from the freebitco team or management has ever came out to state what exactly is happening with the site.

This actually sometimes gives me the impression that the management of the site has not really been truthful as we all have imagined, a couple of times I've wondered why is it that they accounce winners of the weekly lottery and yet, for several years now, no one from this forum has ever confirmed that they won the lottery, same goes witb the lambo contest as well.

At this point, I would personally say that who ever is still vouching for this site to not be a scam is possibly someone that is working with team of this casino and he or she is only here to spite us.

Removed their link from our site.

Should we start pounding this site with formal complaints or wait it out?

They have had more than enough time to tell us what is going on + now I've been robbed 3 times by the plateform.

Starting to get annoyed + disrespected.

Anyone else?

I would almost support DDoS'ing them offline in order to prevent them from scamming others.  While we file formals.

Are they behind any protection? (I can look tomorrow), if someone has 2 seconds tonight to let me know who they are using for migrating attacks, I'll start complaints there. (or I can handle it in the morning)

Also, webhosting, we can complain there and blast them offline that way too.

The government stuff + others.

Sad it is come to this.

Their website is sat behind cloudflare, so good luck with the DDOS.

Unfortunately there is little option but just to keep this thread active and warn as many others as possible, and wait it out to see how things go.

I expect there will be 1 of two outcomes: they either process peoples withdrawals eventually, or one day the site goes offline for good and that will be the end.

I bet it is the second one. Now that their FUN Address completely depleted is, I doubt that they will process any withdrawals, ever. Sadly, because I am waiting for almost 2 months already for my FUN tokens.

Another end of era and an ice-cold shower for all of us.

Brace yourselves.

Yes, when you run a faucet and don't process withdrawals for so long, the amount of withdrawals is only increasing, there comes a guy asking for 0.08 BTC and now one with 0.15 BTC and one in panic asking for 0.11 BTC and another one and another one and bang .... out of the blue you owe all these users several Bitcoins altogether, debt of a few million dollars or more and that small "1 satoshi" per hour that looks so innoncent turns into a huge snowball that you can't get out of.

You want to learn more about this - read this from February 2024:
https://freebitcoin.io/articles/changes-to-our-faucets-from-feb-2024

If these guys would just have changed their hourly roll to a daily roll, or trying to adopt it could have been easier.

It's not the Dutch government, the Dutch issue hasn't made them stop issuing withdrawals, but what you noticed over the years was them processing withdrawals slower and slower, even instant withdrawals would be processed after several days to 1 week and that was a huge red flag.

They might leave their site fully running as some naive users might still deposit money and they can "profit" from these deposits, but like you said, the chances of them processing withdrawals now are next to none.

Once again, we'll say it here, if you can get guys like coffeezilla or other similar characters to dig further into the anonymity behind this site and have it broadcasted to millions of people on Youtube and more - then maybe this could wake up some people who could help, maybe ... but otherwise just call it a loss.

This is known outcome even before when they still trying to patch their issue with band aid solution of slow fixing on casino issues.

Sadly many players choose to ignore all the red flag and still deposit their holdings for the premium benefits that later got cut off. All this issue started when the alleged change ownership happened.

If affected user just notice the red flag they will save their Bitcoin and FUN tokens now.

I don't think anyone is promoting this site. Even if some people are hoping that the site will resume as trustworthy as it was before or if they had good memories with this site and they do not want to leave it or say bad words about it, in all these cases, I don't think anyone is doing it for monetary benefits.
They aren't running any promotion campaigns here on bitcointalk, why would anyone be promoting it ? Its just personal point of view of the writers here.

I completely agree with you as the situation is deteriorating day by day with most people complaining about withdrawals. This is a logical reaction given that they have significant amounts at stake however I'm convinced that no one will listen to their concerns and offer any positive response.
The support system is almost non-existent with new owners failing to handle the situation effectively it's possible that they lack sufficient resources or understanding of how the platform works this was once an ideal platform with a good community and reliable sources, but things have taken a turn for the worse.
In my opinion it's best to leave things as they are as there's little chance of any positivity emerging from this situation after the serious mistakes made.

People no longer complain about withdrawals, because there is no withdrawal at all. This is just sometimes written by people who have not been on the forum for a long time and only realized that they were cheated out of money.
Nothing will happen to this site if the delays in payments are already more than 1 month.
I don't think that an investor will come with his money and will sort out the situation. This is ridiculous.
That's it, we have arrived, dry your oars. Bobik is dead.

Why aren't you processing FUN withdrawals? 2 months already and the tokens didn't come and they don't appear in freebitco.in either.

It's curious...
- That they haven't sent payments since August 5th.
- That they've moved their cryptos to Binance.

And they fix it with a tweet/message? I'm just saying that FBC is doing better than ever, page is not freezing... but that's because there are no external deposits and internal payments.

A tweet is not proof that we can get the money back.

Can you give an estimation of how long the maintenance or resyncing will take so we don't feel desperate waiting for the process to be done?

We are patiently waiting for the time to be done and we hope that it will not take too long. I hope you can stay active here and explain the updated situation after this.

That helps more members who are in the queue and waiting for their transaction to be done to understand the situation.

Dear BTC Talk Community,

⚠️ Our BTC wallet server experienced a crash and is currently resyncing.

Given the large size of the wallet and the huge number of transactions, this process usually takes some time.

We appreciate your patience while everything gets back to normal.

Best regards,
The FreeBitco.in Team

This is somehow implausible if you mean a cold wallet. Its synchronization from scratch takes a maximum of 5 days, with a low Internet speed.
You can also trim old blocks so that it does not take up much space, and a maximum of 13 gigabytes at the moment.
To do this, it is enough to write a command in the wallet shortcut after installing the wallet (necessarily before the first launch of the wallet), for example:
D:\BTC\BTCWallet\bitcoin-qt.exe -datadir=D:\BTC\BTCWallet\ -prune=600 -listen=0

Well, and accordingly, you need to make a backup of the wallet at least once a week, when there are a lot of transactions in it, so that you don’t have to download all the blocks from scratch again, and in general, when there is a balance on it.
