The whole "abusers" thing they are talking about is just a way to shift the blame from their side. We all know they are just pure scammers and stole our money, but they want to make sure that they are not legally obliged and they are actually "working on it".

In reality, if you want your money and want to withdraw and they do not let you, that is illegal and criminal, but they know there is nothing legally that will be done to them, and we are not suing them because basically nobody wants to take that up, we are seeing this as a big issue but they are seeing it as a way to fraud people. I believe there is a non-zero possibility they were serious when they mentioned they were in the process to do what it was right and give refunds to people, though. It would be stupid to affirm they are going to do it with a one hundred percent certainty, they already showed they were more than willing to take money and not allow people to process their withdrawals during months.

Anyways, there is a tiny chance they will. But if it does not happen, then we all need to collect as much information as possible from those people so they can be tracked and prosecuted.

I think they didn't set up a "shut down" page because it's better to enable access to the platform and let active users gamble more aggressively, with greater risk, since few expect anything from there. I don't buy the story of abuse either.
If there was any abuse going on their webpage, they had all the tools necesary to deal with all the abuse and allow their business to continue to be profitable.

There is not a single business which knows there is abuse going on their service and they would choose to do nothing about it. So, having Freebitcoin pointing out to abusers at this stage of their closure is very unprofessional and childish at the very least.

There is a reason casinos have their own Terms of service and those terms are enforced, so there is no chance for abuse to go on rampantly.

Freebitco was also contacted by Dutch and German authorities recently, so I guess it's possible to get through them and it's not very hard. Also, another thing that is worth mentioning is that they control a huge amount of FUN token, which is circulating on Binance and other exchanges. Freebitco is probably one of the most strangely run crypto casinos that I remember.

I'm missing not being able to bet on any events even if it was purely theoretical at this point.  It would have been polite to at least let that section carry on for people to utilize their balances even if only figuratively within this current bubble of a situation that has beset the website.

It all depends on how they managed the fun token, from what I understand, the freebitco management didn't build and list fun token on exchange their self, the token was already built and listed, managed by a different team before the management of freebitco bought it over.

As it stand, if the above is correct, then it's very possible that even exchanges won't have any kyc details of those who managed freebitco since the fun token was already listed before freebitco guys bought it over, though it would have made sense to contact the freebitco team for kyc update, but I don't think the exchanges even thought about this.
So, again, if this information happens to be true, then it's possible that no exchange out there has any real face or personal information on any of the guys that ran freebitco and it's possibly the reason why no one has been able to doxx them.

Yeah, even I kinda miss the BTC and ETH price prediction. It was nice to bet on the future price of these coins and then wait on for some days to view the outcome.
But I think it would not have been the same if our satoshis were actually locked on the site and we knew we can't withdraw those satoshis.
It would have just been like we are playing a demo game or playing with a demo account. So there would be no fun.
Those days are pretty much gone now unless we all use a different site to place price prediction bets.

Chipmixer is different from Freebitco. Chipmixer was a Bitcoin mixing service, which was allowing users to deposit their coins and receive clean coins. The reason why authorities were so much against Chipmixer is that as they said, lots of coins were laundered through Chipmixer regularly for years.
Freebitco doesn't promote mixing or coin cleaning service, so I don't think that authorities are after them. They also have a valid Curacao license. If there is anything that attracts authorities towards Freebitco, that's probably the fact that Freebitco basically allows anyone from any country to gamble on their website and don't have strong control over customers.
