Looks like Fun Token closed their Twitter to comments since everyone was calling them scammers.

To me, Freebitco went to hell when they partnered with this shitcoin project.

Or perhaps it was a way to exit scam, but not so many saw it coming. It was more like one more final scam by selling shitcoins to users in exchange for their valuable sats before closing shop.

Honestly, I don't see any reason why a casino should create their own "utility" token. It's bound to create more and more issues with the user base.

Freebitco.in did not create its own utility token but collaborated with the existing FUN project and partnered with them.
Besides that, they were doing fine for few years after the partnership and only started having issues from last 2 years.
May be, it could be a well planned strategy to exit scam but if it's true then they chose a long way to scam the users.
They could have done it better and in short and nobody could have done anything about it. Why take such a long time to exit scam?

I am sure there are many Freebitcoin victims around, but how many exactly? How much did they lose? We don't have any real info, and I am not sure if there is anyone who has something concrete. they mainly created their own token to use it for rewards and bonuses so that they don't have to spend real money. it's kinda smart, but all those tokens will fail.

It took over 5 years for people to realize what that shitty project was actually about and how those scammers just wanted to get rich from the naivety of thousand of crypto investors.

Though, the case of Freebitcoin is very different. Safemoon was a scam from the very beginning and it was very easy to realize it when one took a look at their finances and the alleged promises of the project itself.
On the other hand, Freebitcoin was legitimate in the beginning, but it turned into something shady along the way, when they could not longer afford to pay their gamblers and investors alike.

For them to get sentenced, they first need to get caught.

Yes, Freebitco was once quite famous for its Bitcoin faucet and earning, even Lamborghini used to offer as reward, but I've never seen anyone getting those,, lol. But for a long time they have been completely lame, not clearing payment. In fact it is now a complete scam. I saw on trustpilot that many old user were screaming that their withdrawal were pending for several month, there was no word from support. Many account were blocked and there was no way to withdraw money. I saw in some places on the forum that they had given notices of shutdown and migration but those were more scams.

Whether it was legit in the beginning or not is no longer useful. If a site withholds money and doesn't say anything clearly, there must be a big scam.

It was a legitimate service in the beginning and they manage to get a lot of money thanks to their fame and the high volume of Bitcoin they accumulated through so many years, but my personal theory is that they lost liquidity because of the way they decided to handle their gamblers and investors.
Also, I am sure FUN token has something to do with all this mess.

FUN either affected their liquidity or it was used as an instrument for them to take a lot of money and run away with all of it.

Either way, we just can try to find who is behind all this mess and hold their accountable for all the damage they have caused to our gaming community.
