They haven't processed any withdrawals for around 10 months and if you click "deposit" or "withdraw" button, you only see their closure announcement.

I'm not saying in terms of fairness but even a dishonest operation would repurpose the site and that domain name especially to some scenario of a working enterprise to be resold etc.     Its my expectation that is what occurs, letting it drift for months then selling off 'assets' is about the norm I'd guess and it costs nothing much to let appearances run on in that manner; a facade with nothing behind it.
  
 This event could be random or perhaps if BTC gets back on a bullish hype phase & that secondhand market repurposing price takes off, prompting action.   Ironically that'd resemble the repurposing  of the FUN token from its creators though I'm not saying the OG creators did anything wrong so far as I know.

Had this happen the other day. Suddenly the closure pop up was not happening and I could see deposit addresses and withdrawal options
But after closing and refreshing the page it was back to the limited closing down version

On a legitimate site, clicking the withdraw button should take the user to the withdraw page where they can easily request withdrawal of any available asset still present in their account since the platform is closing down which has been like forever any way..
And users should not be allowed to deposit new asset into the casino as well, but I guess this is not even the case, or maybe I am wrong.

And feel like this people are simply using the closure announcement to hold their users asset while they are patiently waiting for a bull season where they can possibly profit good from holding those asset and maybe then, they can decide to return those they feel like returning and finally disappear, or maybe wit the money made from the bull run, they can fix the site and get it running normally again, just me thinking out loud trying to ascertain what this guys are really up to.

What do you mean those options are back?
They have already mentioned the service is going to shut down for good.
It does not make any sense for them to process deposits, if you saw something regarding deposits and withdrawals on their website, it is likely itnwas just a mistake from their part or perhaps it was made with the ill intention to keep unaware gamblers depositing their Satoshis on this casino, so the administration of it can keep collecting money before disappearing for good.

There is a serious liquidity issue in place and having options appear on their website is not going to solve it.

As I said in my previous post, if you click the "deposit" button, they will show you their closure announcement instead of giving you a deposit address.

They did this very late after many people had already made deposits without knowing they would never be able to withdraw their funds.

If it has been sold, then why wasn't it announced and what was the point of acquiring it and turning it into an useless company? To my mind, the problem is different. They didn't do an exit scam, there were moments when withdrawal was working, then it wasn't working, then it was working again.

As I've said, and as several other people have said, this was probably sold a month before their subscription campaign ended, and the person who bought it couldn't manage the business and pulled off a scam on the way out because they spent a lot of money buying the website, lost money on operating costs, and it was a business model doomed to failure with the current high price of Bitcoin. This is a basic rule of website scams: they start with selective and delayed payments, while people keep depositing money, and then they disappear.

Subscription campaign or a signature campaign? I also have a question. If they sold the website, then why didn't they announce it? Right now, me and many people think that Freebitco is still owned by the same team, which means that if anything, all the damage goes to their reputation and not to the reputation of new owner. Also, Freebitco's PR team didn't say anything about it.
This business was definitely doomed to failure because who wants to claim 10-20 satoshi per hour? It's also a psychological moment, large numbers appear more attractive and with the current price of Bitcoin, that's impossible. The way Freebitco went scam is very strange for me, they left too much time for everyone to withdraw money. If this was really a scam, it was probably one of the stupidest scam in history of crypto.

This actually a very good development but the only thing is that it was late, just as you have said, I believe they deliberately allowed unsuspecting users to deposit to the platform not knowing the current state of the platform, because to be honest, i don't see why they will allow users to still deposit to the platform even after they had announced closure.

What exactly does it take to turn off deposit and now allow new deposit after the closure announcement while allowing those who have deposited to withdraw their funds?, right now, I see that they are trying to act like a legitimate platform meanwhile they have already reaped the community off, I really hope that authorities find a way to get hold of those who are behind this platform and put them where they really deserve to be.

I don't know if you've been checking the site every day, but I have and I can say that it's correct, some accounts are randomly not showing the shutdown message for a few hours a day, and may even generate a new address for deposit, just like I've tested this week.
 The account of my mother that has 0.013, taking advantage of the fact that the message did not appear on the fifth day that I was already waiting, and I managed to make a withdrawal request of 0.001 to test, the request was confirmed, the banner appears on the site but the withdrawal was not made, and I documented all this with prints, at UTC time it was around 5:00~7:00am

I don't think they are working. And if they are. Nobody should deposit money in the casino because they have not settled the outstanding problems and they want people to deposit. Your funds will be stuck in the casino and more accusations again. As Hispo said, if really those features are working then it is for those who don't know what is happening in the website or the casino. Nobody that is here and who is awared of everything about the freebitco will not deposit to the casino.

I do not think the administration of Freebitcoin has much to earn or win from having some newbie account to wake up, come here and say things like that. I would lean this is about someone who is actually mislead or things there is some positive change going on with this disgrace of a casino, so they can recover their money from the pockets of the administration of Freebitcoin.

With the millions of dollars they are trying yo run away with, i would expect them to have other ways to deflect attention and sow confusion among people who are trying to hold them into account, they would not go for something as cheap as using a random account in this manner.

Even they did that, they must started the previous withdrawal first so members can see if they can still have a hope to get their money back or not. If they announce that they are fixing the system and the withdrawal process already started, that could reduce the problem but trust still need more if they want to get it back from their members. People better not doing anything and waiting for team explanation (if they will) and the withdrawal process.

No serious company would allow their gamblers to continue to generate new deposit addresses at the same time they are planning to have an organized closure and refund all.
