Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I don't get why you deliberately don't include sources in your posts? People would like to know where you get your info from, there are a lot of blogs/shady crypto news websites that are 'fake news' prone. Also, your English could be improved, sometimes it's hard to follow your though process although your logic is good. You mainly post in mega threads, increasing the spam, one of your posts is on page 60, another on page 41... Not to mention the endless bounty posts. Nothing to review here. Sorry. You have endless bounty posts. One would think this account was created just for that... Although I do like you're posting a lot in the altcoin sections, you still need to improve. You do not qualify since the post has already received merit. I do like what I'm seeing in other posts, you're on a good track. You have some English deficiencies but I still can understand what you're trying to say so, that's good. You have good logic in your posts but you still need to improve the quality to receive merit. Try to cite sources in your posts, try to find something that you know a lot about and create a more consistent thread about it that others can find useful. I like that you're determined to catch my attention Your proposals regarding the merit abuser penalties are good and your detective work is very good! Merited! I'm not here to ask for post review, I kind of stumbled onto this thread somehow as I was reading about Merit topics. Anyways, I just want to say that it's a noble thing you are guys are doing to help members earn sMerit. Not many people are willing to spend their precious time doing good deeds with possibly nothing in return. So keep up the good work and perhaps once I'm able to come out with 3 really good quality posts of my own I would return to this thread and ask for a review.
Thanks for the kind words! Post here when you have them and I'll definitely take a look. I like your art work! These are very useful for new members to understand what's it all about and that can only be good news! Merited! Suggestion: I see you mainly post in your local boards, that not bad but I would like to see some of your ideas in the English forums as well. Done with page 2! Will review page 3 later.

confused...there is merit...is the sMerit stuff that the higher ups hand out for folk to pass around more than usual?
confused on how the whole thing works...I hand out merit occasionally...but again sMerit is something else right?
(unsure of the process)

Thanks a lot for sponsoring the thread! This will allow me to continue the review service for a while! You can find more info on it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0SMerit stands for sendable merit. These are the ones you can hand out when you think a post deserves it.
Merit is the merit each person has received that shows up on their profile. It is needed to rank up on the forum.
It is covered to a rediculous amount in meta.
If you click on the merit button it will tell you how much sendable merit you have, above where it gives you the option to award merit.
Hope that helps
EDIT: each month you receive a certain amount of smerit to hand out. also there is no benefit to holding or hoarding it.
Actually, you will receive sMerit under these conditions: - Monthly, but only if you are a merit source.
- When you receive Merit from someone, you will automatically get half of it as sMerits (spendable merits)
More info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0Hmm...it is doubtful I am a merit source, or I'd assume someone would have told me...but will look and see if any sMerit above and beyond is added in a few days. As far as I know...LEGENDARY status has no real need for sMerit or Merit in just to hand them out maybe...and was already at Legendary....thus why I never was paying much attention and missed the running total of sMerits on the page I was handing the stuff out on ..for posts....... again, too much drama in crypto and I don't need merit to 'level up' anymore....so I don't think it really helps my Legendary status ..except to pass the stuff out as I can anyway, caught up (supposedly) on how this works now Brad

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Hmm...it is doubtful I am a merit source, or I'd assume someone would have told me...but will look and see if any sMerit above and beyond is added in a few days.
In order for you to be a merit source you need to apply for it by selecting 10 posts created by others and quoting them in a new topic created in the Meta section. As theymos said here: If you want to be a merit source: 1. Be a somewhat established member. 2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully. 3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
I think you would qualify to be a merit source if you want to be one As far as I know...LEGENDARY status has no real need for sMerit or Merit in just to hand them out maybe...and was already at Legendary....thus why I never was paying much attention and missed the running total of sMerits on the page I was handing the stuff out on ..for posts.......
Yes, indeed, legendary users were not affected in anyway by the implementation of the merit system but you can decide who gets to rank up by awarding merits again, too much drama in crypto and I don't need merit to 'level up' anymore....so I don't think it really helps my Legendary status ..except to pass the stuff out as I can
Agreed, this week is a bit hard for crypto owners but I think this was expected since it seems like before every large holiday everybody starts to sell coins for FIAT. See the Christmas bear trend. Should bounce back after the Orthodox Easter

Sorry, please read the rules & how to apply again. You are on a good track but still need to improve. You should diversify the areas where you post and post content that can catch the attention of more users. You have a lot of contradictory/not researched enough information in your posts. Cannot send merit for that. The good thing is that you're using good English in them and avoiding pointless mega threads but you should work on researching your posts better. Please read the rules & how to apply again. Your detective work is good! Merited! You got your first merit Suggestion: Try to explore more sections of this forum and add sources to your posts. You are on a good track but your post history is very scarce. I could not find more consistent/well researched posts. Put the work into your posts and you will receive merit. I did like your info graphics but apart from those and some local posts you literally only have endless bounty posts. This is a big no no. You need to improve the amount of work you put in your posts and be more involved in the forum. Can I have some try to this? ...{posts quoted not linked}...
Please read the rules & how to apply again.

I'm creating this second thread as my first one didn't get too much traffic (or there aren't many users that can rank up) and I still have sMerit to send out. If you meet the requirements on the other one, then by all means, be sure to also post there I am doing this to get more attention to the Altcoin boards (where I also normally post) until more merit sources are assigned to that section. Sponsors:I would like to thank the sponsors for their support in improving the quality of this forum! Your merits will be put to good use. Rules:- You are trying to help the forum community & post good content
- You are currently at least a Jr. Member
- Your posts have not received any merit yet and you think they deserve merit.
- You are also posting in the Altcoin boards (but not limited to this)
- You are not breaking the forum rules: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
- You are posting in English
How to apply:- Post links to your top 3 posts. I will also look into your post history and check random posts.
Things to avoid:- Do not PM me begging for merit!
- Do not call me "Sir", we're all informal on this forum so, no need for the politeness.
Disclaimer:- This is a self-moderated thread, so if something is out of line, your post will be deleted.
- I have a short amount of sMerits available so, I will be locking this thread when I run out. Will re-open when I get more.
I don't know about you will give me merit or not but I have shared one important article about existence of cartel in crypto market written by one of median writer it's a must read for the people who love Bitcoin, are active trader and are in painic mood due to market crash since 3 months Have you observed and imagined after so many good news like segwit adaptation, low transaction fees, LN being implemented and G20 summit positive results why Bitcoin price is not increasing? ?? People who will read the blog which I have mentioned in my post from one of median blogger will get the answers to above question. He have mentioned his theories with lots of proof which really makes sense, It's time to be smart and save your Bitcoin from cartel. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3228995.msg33602515#msg33602515

You are on a good track but still need to improve. Some of your posts contain a lot of quotes hierarchies. You can just quote the last person and then remove the previous quotes. On the other hand some of your posts, in long threads do not contain quotes and I'm not sure who are you talking with. ?? Also, quoting sources would be a good addition.

I appreciate your insistence but please read the rules & how to apply, again Your post is already merited. You do not qualify, please read the rules & how to apply, again. I see you're mainly posting in your local board, I would like to see you doing more posts in the English boards. For now, I would say you're on a good track but you still need to increase the quality of your posts by improving your English a bit and adding more content & references to you posts. Some of your posts are a bit off topic. You are on a good track but you still need to improve the quality of your posts. I see you're not a native English speaker and some of your posts are affected by this. Your posts history looks good and you have helpful posts! Merited! Suggestion: Maybe you could remove the clutter when you quote. I see you have a lot of quote hierarchies that are sometimes irrelevant. Just quote the last person you're responding to.

You are on a good track but you can improve by citing sources and trying to put more work into your posts. Some have duplicate sentences. Your posts mainly consist of bounty replies with a lot of cascading quotes in them. You need to improve the quality of your posts to receive merit and rank up. Your posts look ok, your logic is sound in them. Merited! Suggestion: You can explore more sections on this forum to get more merit and attention. Your posts are mostly one line long and English can be improved in them. You have a lot of posts in bounties. Your post quality needs to improve in order to rank up. You have good logic in your posts but you keep posting in mega threads. I can't overlook this, it will just increase spam. You are on a good track but you need to increase the quality. You have already received merit for this post. You do not qualify. Hi thanks for the comment, I will take note of that and try hard. If possible can you review this post of mine and if it is meritable? Thank you https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3250278.msg33845620#msg33845620
