I'm creating this second thread as my first one didn't get too much traffic (or there aren't many users that can rank up) and I still have sMerit to send out. If you meet the requirements on the other one, then by all means, be sure to also post there  I am doing this to get more attention to the Altcoin boards (where I also normally post) until more merit sources are assigned to that section.

Another thing is begging for merit at the end of a post which will not bring you merits, you need to remove those lines otherwise people will think you created them just for that. You are on a good path, ranking up will be just a matter of time for you. Your knowledge in the mining field is decent. Merited! Good luck Your posts are in bounty campaigns or bounty related. You need to diversify and learn more about the crypto world in order to receive merit. Your posts have logic but their content is still lacking some knowledge, some are a bit speculative and you tend to post in mega threads. You also have a lot of posts in bounty threads which is not really a bad thing but you still need to improve your quality overall. |

You are on a good track but you can improve by citing sources and trying to put more work into your posts. Some have duplicate sentences. Your posts mainly consist of bounty replies with a lot of cascading quotes in them. You need to improve the quality of your posts to receive merit and rank up. SMerit stands for sendable merit. These are the ones you can hand out when you think a post deserves it. Merit is the merit each person has received that shows up on their profile. It is needed to rank up on the forum. It is covered to a rediculous amount in meta. If you click on the merit button it will tell you how much sendable merit you have, above where it gives you the option to award merit. Hope that helps EDIT: each month you receive a certain amount of smerit to hand out. also there is no benefit to holding or hoarding it. |

I'm not here to ask for post review, I kind of stumbled onto this thread somehow as I was reading about Merit topics. Anyways, I just want to say that it's a noble thing you are guys are doing to help members earn sMerit. Not many people are willing to spend their precious time doing good deeds with possibly nothing in return. So keep up the good work and perhaps once I'm able to come out with 3 really good quality posts of my own I would return to this thread and ask for a review.

I don't get why you deliberately don't include sources in your posts? People would like to know where you get your info from, there are a lot of blogs/shady crypto news websites that are 'fake news' prone. Also, your English could be improved, sometimes it's hard to follow your though process although your logic is good. You mainly post in mega threads, increasing the spam, one of your posts is on page 60, another on page 41... Not to mention the endless bounty posts. Nothing to review here. Sorry. You have endless bounty posts. One would think this account was created just for that... Although I do like you're posting a lot in the altcoin sections, you still need to improve. You do not qualify since the post has already received merit. I do like what I'm seeing in other posts, you're on a good track. You have some English deficiencies but I still can understand what you're trying to say so, that's good. You have good logic in your posts but you still need to improve the quality to receive merit. Try to cite sources in your posts, try to find something that you know a lot about and create a more consistent thread about it that others can find useful. I like that you're determined to catch my attention Your proposals regarding the merit abuser penalties are good and your detective work is very good! Merited! As far as I know...LEGENDARY status has no real need for sMerit or Merit in just to hand them out maybe...and was already at Legendary....thus why I never was paying much attention and missed the running total of sMerits on the page I was handing the stuff out on ..for posts....... again, too much drama in crypto and I don't need merit to 'level up' anymore....so I don't think it really helps my Legendary status ..except to pass the stuff out as I can anyway, caught up (supposedly) on how this works now Brad |

Hmm...it is doubtful I am a merit source, or I'd assume someone would have told me...but will look and see if any sMerit above and beyond is added in a few days.
In order for you to be a merit source you need to apply for it by selecting 10 posts created by others and quoting them in a new topic created in the Meta section. As theymos said here: If you want to be a merit source:
1. Be a somewhat established member.
2. Collect TEN posts written in the last couple of months by other people that have not received nearly enough merit for how good they are, and post quotes for them all in a new Meta thread. The point of this is to demonstrate your ability to give out merit usefully.
3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
I think you would qualify to be a merit source if you want to be one As far as I know...LEGENDARY status has no real need for sMerit or Merit in just to hand them out maybe...and was already at Legendary....thus why I never was paying much attention and missed
the running total of sMerits on the page I was handing the stuff out on ..for posts.......
Yes, indeed, legendary users were not affected in anyway by the implementation of the merit system but you can decide who gets to rank up by awarding merits  again, too much drama in crypto and I don't need merit to 'level up' anymore....so I don't think it really helps my Legendary status ..except to pass the stuff out as I can
Agreed, this week is a bit hard for crypto owners but I think this was expected since it seems like before every large holiday everybody starts to sell coins for FIAT. See the Christmas bear trend. Should bounce back after the Orthodox Easter |

You are on a good track but still need to improve. Some of your posts contain a lot of quotes hierarchies. You can just quote the last person and then remove the previous quotes. So, the quality of your posts definitely needs to improve. Another point is that you should also try to improve your English. It's not that bad but with a bit of study you will improve it significantly. |

Try to create your own threads or post in threads that are no longer than 5 pages. I think you can agree with me that nobody will read your post if it's on page 23 or 13. |

You still need to improve the quality of your posts and also try to check your facts before you post. Some of your posts are on page 12, this will only increase spam and nobody will read them. This is a big no-no. You need to expand your knowledge about the crypto currency world in order to create quality posts and get merit for them. The quality of your posts needs to include in order to receive merit. Some of your replies are in long threads that will not be read because they aren't visible. Some of your posts are in long mega threads and are replies to trivial questions. This will not get you any merits. |

You seem to be interested in bounties and that's it. You participate in a lot of them and you write guide on how other can properly manage them. You need to focus on learning more about the crypto world and less on bounties in order to receive merit. You posts are mainly replies to trivial questions.
