Unfortunately, yes, at the moment a lot of projects are false and try to deceive investors and users to make money illegally. To avoid such projects, you should read their description in more detail and communicate with the developers

Now is not the best time for ICO.  Very often the price of a coin on the market is much lower than the price of an ICO.  And so it is unprofitable to invest in ICO now.

PROBLEM in that it is very easy to create a token. We make a fictitious project and sell this token. I always get bored to buy ...

Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...
The problem you mentioned at the moment is that I am very hot on the show as we know the current crypto market is not as good as in 2018. So ICOS strategies like you say capital mobilization is very hard and It takes a lot of time, besides daily there are too many ICOS programs but no quality and cheat takes us much time. But not all ICOS strategies are deceptive and not good. It is important that we look at strategies and master them strategically.

More than 80%! Most projects except the site and the whitepaper have nothing. And from the others there are also scamers. It is mportant thing to do research before joining on ICO. Reading on their whitepaper and looking on their developer team is important.

At the moment, most projects are unprofitable, but we should not be upset. I believe that soon the situation on the market will change significantly and ICOs will bring a high profit to investors.

You right infact more than 80% of ICO are scam  the most recent one being 93 million Dollar Nkd ICO Scam.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGX1QzQCEbQ&feature=youtu.be

Watch above Naked Technology video wherein  Marco robinson  mentions he collected 93 Million dollars from his Pre ICO but disabled selling upon listing at sgcoinex cryptocurrency exchange so investors could not exit and were stuck with nkd tokens which are worthless and of no value today  .

Marco robinson and Malvidran Ganesh founder of naked technology has been scamming people all over the world and is on the run. They got their coin listed on sgcoinex which was not an exchange but a website created by Malvindran Ganesh and Marco robinson to fool the investors. Investors realised they were being fooled so they changed it to ER20 token and they claim to have listed on etherdelta but apparently no one can sell the tokens

Middle East ICO Investors ,  Singapore ICO Investors and Malaysia ICO Investors were promised NAKED ATM Machines , NAKED & Bitcoin Debit Cards , Naked Coins they have invested thousands of dollars in naked technology ico www.naked.technology and have lost their money watch below Video to find out their grievances.

In the above youtube video Marco says Fuckyou , shows his Middle Finger , says mother fucker , says ass etc who speaks such foul language.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWvJcXNjKLs&feature=youtu.be

Above video marco promises insane and ridiculous return of 7000% ROI and listing price of 0.70$ for nkd tokens to scam people.

Marco Robinson and Malvindran Ganesh are conducting Events globally to promote their below forthcoming ICO

https://www.bigluv.technology/ -  In the name of charity ( Get A House For Free) he is scamming people by using the buzz word blockchain.

https://www.naked.market/

https://www.the-richlist.com/

They claim their ICO is asset backed i.e security token but they do not have any license to issue a security token . We should make them sell their assets and recover our money. We need to inform the blockchain event organisers where marco is going to do his presentation that he is scammer .

if you click on the below link it shows list of unauthorised companies and marco robinson is one of them

Marco & Melvin blocks all means of communication, travels in first class , does not respond to investors and writes to them they don’t know you and gives  legal threats to those who question him about their money they invested in his ICO from his lawyer Johnathan Rogers who is also a Partner/Founder/Legal advisor in Naked Group. As a legal advisor of an ICO if he is putting his name behind an ICO where investors have lost their money then he should not be allowed to practice law and we should complain about such unlawful practice to the links below or call to the UK Legal Ombudsman

I do not think it's that big, maybe not SCAM. But they will refund, or ocin not list on exchange. Or no volume, of course this year the general trend is failure

Great mate nice work. As you said 80% ico scam. But we can avoid scam ico. For that you should improve your research skill. First check team members. Whether they are really good and working for this project or not. Then read white paper.

I agree that most of the ICO is a Scam. But I think this is not a problem, as such projects are very easy to identify.

This percentage is much more than 80 percent because the Scam projects can be attributed to the same projects that only do Vit some work but in fact do nothing and only pull the time spending our money

It is very sad to have so many fraudulent projects that have corrupted the crypto space that can scare off potential investors, some government regulations can help in disinfection of space

This is a very unpleasant statistics. I hope that in the near future the situation in the crypto currency market will change, and ICOs projects will be more qualitative.

I agree with you, and of the remaining 20% of potentially successful projects, in fact, no more than 10% of success is achieved!
although there are too many scam ICOs, there is a good ICO behind them
it depends on how smart we are to find it. if we smart enough we can found it

Yes there are fraudulent projects that do not fulfill their obligations to investors. I also met such projects. I have my own statistics of the 10 ICO projects in which I participated 2 were fraudulent projects.

I can cite statistics that only 1 out of 10 venture projects in the future remains and receives further funding.
