I have been reading the posts on this forum and so many people are saying they lost a lot of money and bitcoin is no good. Many people are saying that bitcoin and other cryptos have been a bad investment.

But if we look at the facts and the performance and compare to other investments that some people make we can see that this is not the case.

People are making the mistake of focussing on price changes on a day to day basis but investment is not about day to day price movements. It is about patience and reward.

Yes, the best investment is bitcoin. If you see the last price of bitcoin, you can say that it is very profitable.
Rightnow its price is very low. So rightnow is best time to buy more, to invest more. And then wait, trust bitcoin and always be patient. Good point. I think many of the novice investors see themselves as investors where they are actually in it for a quick buck. When they talk about buying bitcoin last week and then come on here a week later and say they have lost so much or this much in a week and panic, it makes you think that really they are not investing at all. If they were truly investing they wouldn't be posting such messages.

your opinion is very appropriate I think many investors argue for investments to lose by looking at falling prices with their daily scale if looking at the annual scale may be able to say bitcoin many get price increases and profits for investors

No one in their right senses will debate about the profit percentage major crypto currencies gave than the rest of the investment methods and majority of the players who are complaining  are the ones who are new to the market and they might have had bad experience investing in a rallying market that suddenly collapsed.

Yes, I agree with you. People now a day want to get the profit without proper knowledge and time. So as they invested in bitcoin. But all financial tools have some features. Its price may go high or low. Patience is must then. But it is better to gather proper knowledge and then invest in bitcoin.

bitcoin is not a short-term investment, I think if everyone wants to invest at least it uses a long-term system so everyone does not look panicky when prices fall and have to sell them cheap it could be detrimental

as for volatility, bitcoin is the worst investment. other investments like putting your money in a bank or investing in gold are much better.
as for rise and potential profit bitcoin is the best since it has a limited supply and also a lot of potential for growth.
for security it is the best but only if the person cares enough to learn about it and secure his wallet.
as a trader bitcoin is a so-so investment in my opinion, it has a lot of swings which are also big most of the times that traders can make a lot of profit from but also at times it becomes very unpredictable which makes trading hard.

If fiat is worthless, why are you so desperate when BTC depreciates against it?

You are not only a moron but a hypocrite as well.
1 btc is always 1 btc. The fluctuation of USD does not bother me. I do think that we need to encourage investments into bitcoin because it’s the responsible, fair thing to do. Once people are red pilled that their fiat is worthless they will want to join us in a truly valuable currency like bitcoin. The higher the price in USD, the more people are joining us and converting a useless asset into a useful one.

I'm pretty sure that people came into this being well aware of the risks. The issue with BTC is that it is highly volatile, with exchanges for it worldwide. Large volumes are under unregulated means of exchange. It's all based on demand and speculation is a driving force. People should have never invested what they couldn't afford to lose in BTC and yet some did. They now have to take losses but who's to blame really?

I’m not going to give advice on that. In even the best-case scenario, Bitcoin is incredibly risky … so if you do invest, you should go in expecting to lose all of it.
