Equity tokens are the next important milestone for crypto. And the next big thing for Waves DEX is compliant security tokens trading: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@wavesplatform/the-future-of-tokens-waves-leads-the-way decentralize exchange on waves platform is best part of waves to be more sucessfull in the future.

I also believe equity tokens can be big. It can bring many new investors especially conservative ones to this environment. Why wouldn't Waves get the big portion of the cake?

I think that the waves have a very strong competitor - ethereum and NEO. These are the two most important competitors of this project.

Waves somehow sputtered during last week’s  rally due to Smart contract announcement. To my mind I assumed that this was what we had been waiting for but it was a flop sad to way , well keep on hodling as waves has still great potentials.
it wasn't a flop, consensus has yet to start!

Hello, thank you for your questions and interest in Waves Platform.

Old thread of it was a lot better, and also there were a huge amount of debates and more fuds, which can give us more of the ideas of this project

This thread is dominated by bots posting mindless repetitive garbage to boost the page count, the amount of useful informative posts is very low, almost makes this thread pointless to follow. At least when a thread is over run by FUD it can help if the fud raises concerns that get addressed,  the shill fest we have here achieves nothing.

Agreed. I suspect a lot of the old FUD posters made so much money last year they've retired. Or perhaps they moved on to sexier projects. Who cares about #40 alt coin? We need a new gen of nay-sayers. This thread is boring, and the price moves when the market moves, regardless of Waves milestones. Full nodes release (Oct. 2016), DEX release (Feb. 2017), "fastest blockchain" upgrade (Dec. 2017). Nothing team actually does has yet affected a big break-out. Why will smart contracts be any different?

The launch of smart contracts feature is supposed to come out in two stages. At first, the non-Turing complete contracts using RIDE language will implementation process of smart contracts via smart assets and smart accounts. It’ll be focussing on account handling and making Waves much more secure, flexible and powerful. In the second stage, the implementation of Turing-complete contracts using RIDEON language was completed. Waves outdid its several competitors with their phased approach towards the launch of smart contracts.

i receive profitbot in my wave wallet what is that?

It is supposed to be one of the newly Waves based issued assets and destributed to users' wallets. Also a friendly reminder:

is it true? some official answer will be grate about this point: The company is also working hard the licensing of Waves DEX as securities trading and issuance platform.

Yes, it is true. The article was also posted in the officical Waves News Telegram channel what assumes the information in it was checked and proved by Waves Platform.

somebody has any  experience ?

Thanks for your response Waves Support, although it doesn't address the points raised regarding the spam bots or the lack of price movement in relation to development.

http://wavescommunity.com/the-waves-ambassadors-programme/ Launching the Waves ambassodor program. Conquering the world through local supporters. Become the early participant, it will pay out.

Good luck to all who will be accepted. I have been sharing waves news on facebook and also a friend of sasha on facebook. I was excited to register as I'm willing to be part of the community as ambassador but it looks like my country isn't listed on the focus countries. Anyway I put my trust to the platform that it will somehow make it to be preferred platform for the blockchain projects.
That was good told to other people about cryptocurrencies especially for waves coin on social media is like Facebook and another social media due to however many people out there doesn't know about the cryptocurrencies, it is our responsibilities as community of waves to tell them about the benefits of cryptocurrencies especially for waves it will gives to another people, i apreciate for what you have done for waves.

Yes i agree with you, the equity token will be big in the future, and the waves coin will be more big too because the equity token can be built on waves platform, i am sure it will happen in the future because the equity token can not run without waves platform and the most i like of waves platform many good projects of token in waves platform than other platform.

I always see Waves as a sleeping giant, really, something like "the new ethereum", or the "russian ethereum" that will surpass the real ethereum.. but month after month does not happens what i believe.. Waves has nothing less than ethereum or Neo, so why we are not skyrocketing yet? I'm thinking it is just because of marketing.. could be possible?

Waves doesn't need smart Contracts to create, manage and trade your own tokens.

This functionality was built into the blockchain and clients long ago. On the desktop client the whole process of creating a token, managing it and trading it on the Waves DEX built in exchange literally takes seconds due to the incredible speed and power of the Waves blockchain.

Of course, now there are Smart Contracts, this opens up exciting and new possibilities as to how people can use these tokens!  Grin

If you think that is too cheap, well buy more!
Why is it cheap? I don't know, maybe it's not a random over-shilled project but Waves is exactly the kind of project that will survive in the future because fundamentals analysis is top of the class

Hey, Waves Community! They're launching their own Waves Platform Forum: the place where you will be way closer to the dev team and product team and communicate with each other knowing that they all are here to help you. Welcome http://forum.wavesplatform.com
