Waves Tx and DEX trade volume has always been in top 10 but since the Monero Gateway was added to the wallet the volume seems to be rocketing!
It seems people really like the combination of the Waves Wallet, DEX and Monero!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Think about it, if you want to anonymize your waves you just exchange waves to monero and send them away. I hope that in the future they will add some true anon feature to waves itself too (even as an optional service) |

I very much doubt that they will go far, maybe a year or two will stay afloat, and then go to the bottom!

The price of waves sucks ass. Alot of people did a ton of work for waves but its fucking 4$ compared to ETH 500$. Waves tech is way better than ETH but sasha better hit the gas on the price action or developers are going to leave waves for a platform that makes money
The problem is not the tech but the adoption. Ethereum would be so successfull if there would have been hundreds (probably thousands) of ICOs utilizing ERC20 or real world applications like CryptoKitties. If there would be more ICO on Waves and some interesting applications the price would be values multiple times of now. ....and keep in mind that WAVES is 2 years younger than Ethereum! |

Waves is much less popular so any project based on that will have lower market value that the one on Ethereum. There is very little real incentive in using Waves.

I would happily create a new address in their wallet (very easy to do) and transfer my spare BTC to get some free Waves. Best option for me is to go their Telegram channel right now and get some additional information there. I can't miss this free lunch money.

The regular maintenance works (node update v0.13.3) cause that crashing, so there might be longer times for all kind of transfers to or from Coinomat gateway. All transactions are safely stored and will be fulfilled gradually. We apologize for any inconvenience. bottom meaning? waves is one the best project with huge funds and new features are constantly being developed, i think waves will go for years and years. probably one day it will be ranked in top 10. |

There are many coins with faster transactions than Wave for example EOS or Credits. Also EOS transactions are free  . |
