I tried the Discord chat.
Didn't work great. Obviously, we can ask a few question yes.. but not deepen a specific subject.
It takes too much time for member to describe everything, and they are not professional support, they get bored of questions.

If all the guys like me broadcast 100 questions on Discord, it will be a mess.
We definitely need a basic guide to describe how a Node works and the different type of nodes with matcher or not etc.

I'm working with servers and linux since more than 15 years, it should take me an hour to setup a complete node and understand how it works.
Until I'm not, than Wavesplatform is not ready for massive deployment and adoption.

We need a guide from A to Z on how to create a node, and send automatic orders to buy / sell tokens on the DEX  
If anyone wants to do this, he should be able with waves and quickly.

What happened to wavestalk.org? IT was a good site with interesting projects, now it just links to the botrun corporate wavesplatformforum that barely works. Please restore the wavestalk.org it was way better than the dork bot forum up now

Its now redirected to https://forum.wavesplatform.com It does mean the team own that wavestalk.org I remember the admin of that forum claimed to be an individual who is an avid fan of waves.

I tried to setup a WAVES Node, but I'm lost.

I don't understand all of these technical details, what is a matcher, why do we need a matcher, how do we connect to a matcher.
There is a lot of parameters into the config file and most of them are not detailed.

The guides are great but I think we need a better guide to understand from 0 how it works.
A total noob should be able to understand and setup a node from A to Z with a complete guide.
I think it is important that someone who totally understand the waves-node system publish a global guide.
It will help spreading the world why Waves platform is so great.

Then I tried to understand and configure MatcherPublicKey and so. But I don't get WTF is a matcher, how do we use it, do we connect to another, or do we run our own matcher.

Doesn't make sense to say 'Waves is so great' without knowing how it really works.

I've just created a new Waves wallet with the new beta wavesplatform and I've remained quite speechless as I didn't find a single smoothless way to copy my new waves address once inside the platform. Of course by clicking on the "receive" tab I am shown my address, but I have no way to copy it. Instead I am offered a way to "Share the link to an invoice". The only way to extract my waves wallet has been to copy the "Share the link to an invoice" string and extract my address from there. Well, are you totally crazy? How can you hope for mass adoption if you make the easiest things impossible for the average Joe? I know how to go around obstacles, but a newbie won't. As I said, I'm speechless.

 you can easily double click the receive address from portfolio or asset page under waves to copy your address. just double click and select copy on your phone or 'ctrl c' on a keyboard

I no longer expect strong coins from this coin. It seems to me that this project will develop very smoothly, and the price will remain almost in one place. I do not invest in this coin.

I think and I hope crypto world is bottoming in this days. This week will be very important in my opinion. There are many coins and tokens with good chart patterns, and Waves is one of these. Waves has crosschain exchange, fiat gateway. mass transfers at 40x eth speeds, the only platform with appreciating monetary units, the lowest cost trading of any exchange, ultrlow cost transfers, awesome web wallet lite client for all devices, and on and on. as much as I bitch about the price being so low, waves is actually a great platform with so many line items that beat EOS, NEO, ETH and all the others. Now if we can get the price to match the solidness of the tech, waves will be 200$ + per waves

​​Due to some issues with compatibility between previous Waves node version 0.10.x and current release 0.13.3, the entire network switched to the blocks generagted by version 0.13.3 since the majority of miners supported this chain. Most of recent transactions are presented in the main chain.

Nodes runninng on version 0.10.x cannot consume valid chain anymore so we ask all the full node owners to update their nodes ASAP: https://github.com/wavesplatform/Waves/releases/tag/v0.13.3

so wasnt  pushed 1st any announcement to all nodes providers? why we still have this kind of issues?

All of problem has been fixed by the developer of waves team, it is just maintenance of waves to be more better in the future so everything is fine now, i will gives new information if there are important announcement about waves from the developer and community of waves.

I have join this client about 2 months ago. I used this one to receive my toke name GAMEX - The transaction did well but recently I got a transaction from someone which I don't know - The client notes me that there is maybe cheat on this.

I'm a fan of Waves but is there any issue on this?
