Waves will not be the next technological revolution to follow Ethereum, but it is a tool with the potential to be widely adopted by users

Guys, which wallet you guys are using for waves?

I'm still using google chrome app and leased all my waves coins. For a long time, I didn't sign in but recently noticed warning message saying that google chrome is closing this app so need to download from the site.

Is this online beta version is safe to use - https://wavesplatform.com/ ?

Hello. You can install our latest Beta client here: https://wavesplatform.com/product
We always recommend our users and newcomers to use Beta client as it is more handy and stable client at this moment. This is an absolutely safe place to keep your assets. You can just import your seed there start work.

Kind regards,
Waves Community Manager.

This company is shit. Their approach to business is disgusting. Their decentralized exchange is not such. They can easily block any address.
So this is FUD. They can't block any addresses. The biggest nodes won't let them do that.

Waves Decentralised Exchange has rank 67 by total 24h vol more than $6 mill.

Full list:

Ethfinex - 65 ($7 mil)
Waves Decentralized Exchange - 67 ($6 mil)
IDEX - 91 ($2.3 mil)
CryptoBridge - 115 ($685k)
OasisDEX - 120 ($554k)
Stellar Decentralized Exchange - 141 ($135k)
OpenLedger DEX - 151 ($95k)
Radar Relay - 168 ($31k)
RuDEX - 182 ($6k)
BarterDEX - 197 ($10)

Bisq - outranked (vol $15k)

Waves DEX is a faster because of offchain matching service. And Waves Lite Wallet with DEX onboard which uses TradingView is the best GUI what I've seen

They can block. So it's not a decentralized exchange, but gggg So they need to write - "with elements of decentralization."

https://youtu.be/-LC5TTS5uck

A decentralized exchange means that anyone can trade. No one can restrict his access to trading. And if not, then it's, sorry, shit.

Didn't know Waves had its own exchange as well.. Which is interesting, because I was doing research on it after hearing their development in smart contracts could overtake Ethereum. As a believer in ETH I had to check out the competition like EOS and NEO. WAVES looks like a newcomer with some potential.

Oh, you mean blocking exchange operations. if you wanna write all garbage orders to the blockchain, use others slow DEX's. For now Waves DEX has no multiple matcher service. But it has High frequency trading ability like centralised exchanges. This is most important thing - safety and speed in same time.

Yes. Too much shilling and FUD on Bitcointalk Alts. Waves has one of the biggest and definitely fastest decentralised exchanges with a fantastic UI that is as good as centralised exchanges.
All shills on here are interested in is pumping slow, congested, expensive and forked stuff like ETH or non existant vapour like NEO.

Waves today is considered a very promising project, as far as I know they are now engaged in the development of smart contracts and yet today there are a lot of scam projects that are very bad for the reputation of the project as a whole.

Hello. Unfortunately, I'm not authorized and competent enough to answer on your question and most probably such info as addresses can't be disclosed. Thanks for understanding.

You can look it up on wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waves_platform, they have > 70 direct employees.

I don't know how many Waves they hold, themselves - but they did raise more BTC than ETH did with their ICO - and overall were the second biggest ICO after ETH. I guess it's not a large percentage of Waves in the scheme of ICO's and things - but they have lots of funding and are building up revenue streams, especially with their consultancy arm, Vostok.

Coincheckup ranks Bitcoin at number 5, Ethereum at number 25, EOS at 159, and Waves at 333 - not quite an Ethereum killer, then! You can see now why Sasha has moved on to a new project. Grin

Today in Waves Lab blog we would like to introduce you to Monika, the founder of the Waves gateway in South Africa. Waves African Exchange PTY Ltd demonstrates that there are no geographical boundaries and that cryptocurrency markets flourish all over the globe. This is why we consider it important for the Waves Lab community to know this case.

'Only 1 of 10 ICO startups becomes successful, then 1 out of 10 manages to make some money and then, only 1 out of those 10 will succeed enough to start growing a capital', - Sasha Ivanov for Future Times. Check out the full interview: https://futuretimes.io/articles/about-waves/
