It may take some months but it looks like it will be over as soon as possible. I thought the bullish trend in the last year takes around 3 months. it looks like the price will be going to back again before big bullish of bitcoin was happening. But it will not more than a half of this year i guess. it looks like the whales are still dumping their coin to make the price will be lower again.

Until last year, they were not interested in bitcoin. But after they paid attention to it problems began. We're in their hands now. I do believe that till end of this year we will be in berish. I just hope you haven't thrown all your money into crypto. If you have enough money to sustain and support your daily needs then don't worry much. Look at investment money as lost because this is the best and easier way to hold or HODL how many will tell. Bullish will start this summer I believe maybe within few months even, but honestly I don't worry much because I know within 5years time I will get a lot of profit out of this.

if you have invested in bitcoin in while you will not be so worried . that volatile price is normal in btc just check yearly graph of it and you will find that there is no difference to what happen now and what happen in the past years.

I am likely in the same situation for my portfolio , the value of my coins decreased about 50% because I made a mistake in one of my investments but anyway I still confident that this bearish scenario is going to be over very soon , we have many causes of this decline and the most important thing is that big investors are not participating anymore in the cryptocurrencies market and the total market cap explains every thing . When we had a bullish market the market cap of all cryptocurrencies was around 1 thousands billion-dollar but for now it's around 300 billion-dollar so that explains that more than 60 % of total investment is gone . it's possible, but people comparing this individual year's movements to the previous 3-4 years should take into account the monster that just happened. that's crazily distorted everything and we don't know how much of it is left to play out.

Keep calm, we are all experiencing huge losses for now. Things were going too good before, there were no major downs and it seemed like investing in cryptos is a really easy thing to do, because the prices just go up whenever you join. Now we can see the market teaching us a big lesson, because all the newbies got scared and the governments are probably doing their best to stop mass adoption and lead cryptocurrencies to their end. But I don't believe they can do that. Most of us expect full (or really close to full) recovery this summer. Before that we just have to be patient.

I don't think the bear market will last that long because in 2014, mt. gox was handling 70% of all btc transactions and that's the year that stopped withdrawals and transactions so that slowed the market down. Yes, I think it will last longer. Doesn't mean that you should stop holding though, because you will never know when the dips stop coming and the markets turn bullish again. But it's definitely not right now that the transition of bearishness to bullishness is happening. We may see this huge bear market last for something along the lines of a couple of months more.

This is the problem with most investors that started in 2017, they only know cryptos going up and have no experience of cryptos going down.

I can tell you that if you want to be involved in crypto at all, you should be prepared for any downturns in the market. This is no exception. Either bring your cost average down by buying now, or keep on holding. That should be your basic trading strategy in a bear market instead of panicking. Bull market will come sooner or later.

This is probably the correction of the bullruns from the late december that is why the whole market is getting dumped to quickly,because those people who bought bitcoin as early as it is around less than $3k are probably cashing out their money all at once! Do not worry mate your not the only one on that situation i alao losing more than 50% of invest because of this down fall trend in the world of cryptos,

These coins are going to recover soon if these picks are very good ,solid altcoins are going to recover faster than any shitcoins in the market.If you did researched before investing to anything you wont get panicked whenever the market has crashed because you are sure that you coins is going to be fine but if you did randomly pick those coins you are in a big trouble.

If you havent experience 96% losses in your portfolio you have a very long way to go,because the market volatility is too complicated and you shouldnt be selling in panic,i have managed to get recovered from that losses thru holding,because you wont lose anything if you will not going to sell the coins you are trapped in.Do not worry about your portfolio if you hav quality coins you will be okay at the end of the day.

IMO if you are holding only those worthy coins to invest in,you wont need to worry about because you know the capacity or credibility of each coin you are holding to,most of the altcoins are shitty ones and you just need to pick those coins which has a lot of potentials and im sure you will be safe from these bloodbaths,do not try to sell in panic or you could lose everything!

I Joined the same time as you. I made a big mistake not taking profit at the correct time. Almost all the coins found new ATH during that time but at that time I hope coins continually climb the higher. But it is not happened and market crashed several weeks. I didn't sell anything. But this bear market still not over. I think next bull rally will start next May. Until that we might see ranging market 4000 - 12000 USD per BTC.
