Yeah every day you mine might not offset electricity; that's the gamble with mining early on altcoins.  Could be worth nothing, pool loses your shit, coin fails before exchange, dev scams. You have received - you were lucky. Write to Discord that many people haven't received.

ALL RAVEN MINING POOLS WERE HACKED LAST NIGHT
 QUote from ravenminer discord:
There was a wide-scale hack on RVN pool wallets. This has affected many Ravencoin pools. Some of your pending balance on Ravenminer and other pools are now in the possession of the Hacker(s). It's best to assume they are irretreivable (gone for good). Any details beyond this are probably just guesswork

These are the current most repeated questions questions and answers.
Who dunnit?- Yet to be determined
Where's my RVN?- Stolen, things that are stolen are no longer yours.
ravenminer.com should pay me back!- You have been earning more than you should because there is no pool fee here. If you picked another pool at random you would likely still be at a loss.
Should I continue to mine with this pool?- That's your decision. Right now the pool is working. @birdman has quickly applied a temporary fix until the nature of the attack can be determined. It's advisable to set failover pool(s) so you can continue to mine in case this pool has to go down for a time.
Russians! Yes, that's a term for people from a specific a country, good job.
Yeah but when will i get my coins? I havent gotten a payout in x hours!- From this point your earnings are safe. Any balance before that was pending is likely gone for good

Look folks, as soon as concrete answers are available it will be blasted through all the channels you guys use. You won't have a choice but to hear about it. Go to the park or talk to a stranger. Learn how to knit, whatever. Asking the same questions over and over won't help anything, in fact it will only DELAY solutions

Wow. Thanks for that.

That sux for those that have lost and I'm sorry for them.
Most are paid out regularly so hopefully the loss will be minimal!!!
Suprnova can retain your coins longer with personalised payout times - hopefully they were ok.

The positive is that this coin was worth the effort hacking.
HOLD your bags!

it is fixed or not(what i mean is totally safe) ? it might be working at this moment, but if we are mining it on it and the same thing happen again, does not that mean we are wasting our time ? damn  this hackers, always ruined other people.

I've got 228.49452703 RVN outstanding on ravenmining.com.  Switching my hashes elsewhere until this is resolved.

they haven't told us the amount yet, check on our pool discords
yeah it sucks being stolen from, but maybe they can trace the wallet somehow
and get the bastards who did it later, all we can hope for is they
can fix the weak link so it dosen't happen again too soon

Are other coins susceptible to this kind of mining pool attack or was there something unique with Raven that allowed it?

Not only that, when there is a fuck up they step up to the plate and drop fees, etc. Good, solid and reliable
