Any reliable US based pools? I was using 3I and now supernova however I would prefer pool that is closer for less rejected shares.

you can try mine, www.alttank.ca .

Low latency network and only across the boarder - speed wont be affected Smiley

People need to take some responsibility for their own actions.  This is crypto, it's the Wild Wild West.  If I were mining and weren't getting regular payouts I'd STOP MINING on that pool.  Period.  If I'm mining and I think the hash rate isn't right or someone is skimming hashes, I STOP MINING THERE.  Do something.  Switch pools.  Don't keep mining like an idiot.

Mining pools are extremely complex.  If something goes wrong it can go terribly wrong and I highly doubt there are backups to revert to.  If the reports don't look correct, or you're not getting paid move to another pool.  Don't bitch that you've been scammed out of coins without providing proof.  Give wallet addresses and screenshots, but don't spam these forums.  This forum is not associated with mining pools.

Anyone noticed around 30% less coins mined in the last 1-2 days?
Im on Suprnova pool and I noticed the network hasrate vent down a lot but I did start making a lot less.
I usually mined 5-10% less then calculated but now more then 30%.
it's wrong. dont look at net hashrate. look at difficulty. last change was about 2-3%.
maybe bad pool luck? or some technical problems

Suprnova rvn coins per hour over a 24 hour period are low for me too.  I’m looking for another pool.  Any suggestions?

Your project is really catchy. It’s implemented and presented quite well. Have you heard about the traders contest on one platform? They promise good money, tokens and much more. If you're interested, here is the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3119562.msg34381778#msg34381778

There are two problems with your statements in this instance, though:

1)  Threeeyed themselves told people not to mine there at some point, and people heeded that advice.  By and large, though, the people who are complaining about not having received their coins are the people who actually did follow that advice and moved to another pool.

You don't get to have it both ways by telling people they shouldn't complain and should have moved to a different pool, when the bulk of people in this situation did just that.

2)  It's difficult to provide proof when the proof disappears - as someone who had a mature balance from that pool that was never paid, it's impossible to show your proof when your mature balance drops to zero with no notice, because you're going on someone's word that it'll be fixed.

For me, personally, the 107 RVN I lost isn't a huge deal - it represents about eight hours of overnight mining that I have no return on and will never have return on, but that's life.  What has bothered me the most, though, are the people here (who, without exception, aren't in the same boat because they got what they were supposed to) who are essentially accusing people of lying about not getting what they were supposed to, or essentially saying that these people are stupid because they are demanding something they obviously weren't supposed to get.

And for me, if that's going to be how the community acts for a coin that is community-run, then maybe I should look elsewhere, because it says far more about the community (and, to me, the coin) than a lot of people are going to be willing to admit.

I am also having low returns lately but It is not that I was always getting good returns before. I was only getting way better returns than my usual since the last week or smth. (always mined on suprnova)

Try this pool if you like: http://www.ravenminer.com/
Some people favor this one over suprnova since it has %0 pool fee. (supr has %1) I'll probably change my pool too.

That is actually not the point at all in this case, you are well mannered and talk, others just scream WHERE LAMBO.

Now here is the very blunt and brute honest thruth:

COULD you have made a screenshot showing your mature balance lets say, every hour? if so, then you have proof of your balance. if you did not then you don't have the proof neccessary to back up your claims.

This is the very basic rule of crypto and this will get even more important then ever.

BACKUP AND NOTE DOWN EVERYTHING otherwise you can lose EVERYTHING.

change your backup intervals to the interval YOU are comfortable with, in case of emergency crashes, that you are willing to lose

I've been unhappy with my pool selection since RVNPool closed. Also the rate of earnings has fallen off so much since I started, it feels like I'm not getting my "best" return.

I was at Threeeye - until they closed (I did get paid all that I was due) and tried Ravenminer and Supernova over the past few days.
Using the raven coin calculator http://ravencalc.xyz/- adjusted for my actual average hash rate:

   - Ideally, I should be making about 1,250RVN a day.
   - Ravenminer - past day, 1,062
   - Suprnova - day before, 1,199
So, while my test is NOT conclusive, (not long enough, too many other variables including luck)
In the long run, I don't think the pool will matter, the payouts will balance out to be the same (ish).

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

The difficulty is continuing to go up.  You're not going to keep getting the same gains.  You should stick with one of the bigger pools.  That's either Ravenminer or Suprnova.  Personally I try to not use Suprnova.  I never get good hashrates there and I feel like I'm underpaid compared to other pools.  Their reporting is shitty and sometimes doesn't update.

I hear the hash rate thing about Suprnova all the time. I wonder what that is. Coin rate has been slightly better for me at Suprnova. I've tried a bunch of the pools over the past two plus months. And every time I find one paying what I expect to get paid, it closes. Too many variables when it comes to pools, you just have to find one that works for you.

But the reporting comment on Suprnova, not sure why you think that. They have more information available than any other pool I've worked with. What don't they have that you are looking for?

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.

“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

At least it works :-P

And when you look a few posts above, payout is fine as well. Reporting is probably a thing which people sometimes like, sometimes not..

I wonder if this coin will cost anything and when? Very curious, we're digging in vain or not? Does anyone know the answer?
