It seems like asset will be activated in less than 17h. Get it when you can get it cheap. I game back after assets avtivated. When it will happen in 17h, ladies and gentelmans, buckle up your seat belt because it's gonna get bumpy ride to the moon. I chose myself blue lambo Ohooo, another Lambo screamer.. what if is not bumpy ride dude... Looks like scam. Does anyone really take you into consideration? You're getting boring to me. Why I should care, there is full of people that speaking super dupper words, about bright future, ecosystem and hundreds of bull..it. Lambos is number one in that....For normal miners all that is absolute fake... Here is profit or not,.. mine sell, trade , buy sell... all other stuff is simply scam.Great words ,just words. There was nothing after 31, should be nothing after 17 th, all that is to keep high level of interest for RVN, artifitial but interest. Fan boys, land on Earth ,things are simple.. exept if someone explains hoh great project is that, bright future la lalala.....who cares...People mine ,and sell for money...because of chance of multiplication of these money they are here...Of course you can belive in all what you want. So where is the scam? Bitcoin is a scam to i presume? Crypto is and will be for a long time a high risk investment. Will any of the current coins be used as currency in 50 years? who knows? You just try to do something for you own benefit and use it as you think it's best. People didn't believe in Bitcoin and still 2 pizzas were sold for 10.000 bitcoin. I think that person who gave 10.000 bitcoin hanged himself or something after seeing where it got to. True bitcoin was a first, and many over try to reap benefits of the world it created. Project are all over the place some better than the others. Is Ravencoin an out-of-this-world idea and project? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe i'll get enough to buy myself a new Kia Ceed or maybe i'll even have to buy a new apartment, or maybe it will all just go to waste. I'm not mining and selling, i'm holding cause i want to trust this coin. Only time will tell. In the meanwhile, i see people praising Ravencoin and i see people like to, smack talking. I think disappointments will be on both sides and either side could loose. You're not gonna change people just by being arrogant on a forum and you're not going to change the world by just saying NO and "trust me i know better". Think it's a scam, have a better idea, build it, propose it, argue for it, fight for it, prove everyone wrong and than you will have a valid point. I've think I've already written enough to you. Try to read it calmly, you don't have to answer, i'm not looking for answers i just came upon this message from you but not gonna search for another, and make your own decisions. Influence the ones around you if you must/can and take responsibility for what you do. If they loose on your advice than be a man and accept it, and if they gain something, be a man and don't gloat. Chill out, everyone here is aware of the risks, and if they aren't....well....they don't really matter.

Indeed it depend on the goal of any people how he will take it as long term investment or only to make some profit when it get chance for it. Crypto is still very young we have to keep trust in it surely in coming days we will see this will change the old existing way and it will make the world better.

Almost 2.4 millions Raven coins were burnt and will be out of supply for good. All created tokens number is touching 5k figures almost which shows the huge interest of people and companies surely though not clear at the moment. Not every asset is going to succeed but few of them surely will survive and grow over the time. Raven Coin is providing protocol to create assets and then make them successful, being on decentralized protocol they can't be shut down this is main advantage for now.

I'm pretty sure 90% of the assets are named after big companies (eg: "Coca-cola", "Coke","iPhone","GM", etc) hoping that those big companies will come to them and request to buy all those assets and all there is to them. While i do see the allure to doing such a thing i really believe we are a long way from such moment and also there is always the possibility that they will add something just to not buy it from them (Eg: "Coca - Cola" or "Coca-cola company",etc). IMHO, i don't think there is an asset now created by someone with a company aiming to really use it, maybe besides Overstock.

How many people here lost ravens and assets never issued? Who do you contact for tech support? I wanted to use it for my investment fund. How to I know it is not going to happen again when trying something else?

We are at stage where tech companies already have started to integrate blockchain in their ledgers or started to adopt it. Tech companies are more open to new things than non-technical ones. Next phase will be when retailers and sellers will be jumping on the blockchain. I don't think that day is far because in previous years lot of awareness and grounds has been prepared for adoption.

IMHO, i don't think there is an asset now created by someone with a company aiming to really use it, maybe besides Overstock. Sooo ... What is stopping a MultiBillion Dollar Corporation like CocaCola Amatil from employing their own tech team and creating their own blockchain with their own asset layer instead of using RVN? Or even any other MultiBillion Dollar Corporation, or anyone else for that matter? Even if it is as simple as cloning the code and changing the names and setup? RVN has done reasonably well, but there is a LONG way to go. Many others will have (and already have) had a go at doing this, and this will continue. Either they will clone and improve, or they will add to the Git/Code. Whichever way, there will be a bright future for the CryptoIndustry from where I see it, and I am NOT talking about the 'price', but more the tech value. Nice work. #crysx

what I mean is that a new wallet will not fix the fact that the current wallet did not broadcast the transaction making me lose my ravens and assets and cannot find any technical support. Please explain these?

RVN still makes the volume more stable for days, many buying and selling activities are carried out in exchange. Making the community very supportive of RVN to enter the top 10 in the coinmarketcap.

Aismen, You've got the pizza story all wrong. Yes It’s one of the best-known cryptocurrency legends: The guy who bought two pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoin back in 2010 to prove the digital currency worked. He wasn't mad about the cost, he did to prove it could be done. He helped prove that BTC was/is viable as a currency, thus that transaction helped make BTC what it is today. Plus he had a lot more BTC in his wallet. And guess what - he’s at it again. This time, early Bitcoin developer Laszlo Hanyecz wanted to test the Lightning Network, a technology that runs parallel to a blockchain like Bitcoin’s network and aims to speed up transactions. A couple of months ago he ended up paying 0.00649 Bitcoin for two pizzas, or $67, and the transaction cost about 6 U.S. cents. In a year or two someone will say - that guy who bought the pizza for 0.00649 Bitcoin over paid. NO - he is a true Pioneer. And NO, he didn't hang himself. He made millions on Bitcoin. Just clarifying. Otherwise I agree with your post and your general thoughts. RVN... to the moon!

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.
“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

That is well explained and will be helpful to many people to watch the other side of the story too referring at Pizza buying. It is all about time when anything in advance than its proper time that doesn't fit well. This has happened and is happening over and over again because at this stage. People buy with cryptocurrencies, majority not all, think they are taking advantage. In fact in few years they realize that it were they whom got tricked by paying so much. Ravencoin is something which can't be understood by its potential and use cases now but will be clear in future.

I put together a little medium post to help people who want to resell their assets. This post describes a simple process to add your JSON meta data with your contact information, sale price, etc. You can do this for new assets you create or you can re-issue an old asset for 100 RVN if you made it re-issuable. If you're like me and wondering why you couldn't simply type some text into the JSON meta hash field... this will walk you through the process and I include a sample file for you to simply edit with your info.

Search for the zapwallettxes and rescan commands for Bitcoin stuck transactions. They work for Ravencoin also.
