On the other hand, closest competitor is Golem: no computing, no wallet and the latest one - no deadlines. |

Is there any plans for other than BOINC like computations ( think Golem in terms of modified BOINC manager ). Or is Gridcoin is fixated only on science related computations?

BOINC can be used for any sort of computations, not only science-related. If you need some computing power, nothing stands in your way to create a BOINC project, even if it's commercial and for profit. BOINC already hosts non-science projects.
Moo Wrapper for one example (cryptography, NOT science).
GRC is intended to reward work done on BOINC projects though, and it doesn't seem likely that will change.
