After doing my own research on the claims of "they copied me, I didn't copy them" I agree 100% with you about not trusting Verge or Justin. I bailed on January 1st, after the Wraith fail (lies?), then stupidly bought back in when "the biggest crypto partnership evah" was going to be released. I sold most after that debacle, but had about 5000 left. I just sold those after this response to the hack.
For anybody just browsing this thread ------ tl;dr VERGE LIES. DON'T BUY.
Hmmmm... Noted...

Re: negative balances, I did check an address on prohashing and it shows a zero balance instead of the 2240 negative that a posted address had. So explorer error is legitimate explanation. I didn't test, so that's just a single data point. Re: Code. I finally started to figure out github commits. I will say this- look at the code, especially in April, and you'll see several attempts by justin to fix the drift. The thing that sticks out to me is the coding style. Look at the multiple attempts prior to May 24th. Then look at May 24th. Style is totally different, with lots of commenting in the code, and an entirely different fix. This is all in addition to the time/date stamps of the commit. Look at the commit from SHIELD on dated April 5th. The code is identical to the May 24th commit by justin. The story that XVG/justin pushed a commit then pulled it off and that XSH copied it is completely implausible. XVG/justin was still dicking with drift times on April 6th. During all of this looking, I had a minor epiphany. Justin-V-for-Vendetta. Think he has a vendetta against XSH devs? Because some devs didn't agree with direction Justin was going, so they left xvg, forked it, improved it, and launched XSH? Next question: In response to a recent issue, the reply is that XVG is switching to BTC core. Where did they get that idea??? It's been publicly announced that XSH is migrating to btc core, so now XVG is, too? Interesting... references: xvg github timeline: https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/commits/masterShield repository: https://git.shieldx.sh/SHIELD-team/Core-Projects/SHIELD/commit/c9da6eb64f670a6e0336ceb10332b2bd94498ebaI'm wondering if prohashing just returns 0 when it encounters a negative value, that's why I wanted to try sending some xvg to the address and seeing if the value changes on prohashing or remains 0. Also, we all know that Justin basically copy-pastes code so it's just about figuring where he did it from and it seems obvious that here he copied XSH code, without giving them credit. Fucking slimy. He can't code, his only ability is to horribly "integrate" others' code.

Thanks. I had checked prohashing as well previously. The thing is, Verge and other crypto currencies exist and have various functions including transfer and representation of value held. Right? So, you would think (and hope) something as simple as a block explorer - specifically what I perceive to be the official "endorsed by Verge" version, would actually be accurate. But it isn't, and hasn't been for some time now. I've posted previously showing this fact as well. We've all come to rely on checking block explorers to verify transfers, funds etc. People are putting real money out there and relying on the explorer to verify that things are OK with their funds. As I have said previously, if Verge/Justin is in control of the explorer, then they are also in control of the database in-between the xvg blockchain and the web UI. This DB can easily be manipulated to display whatever data they would like. I don't trust Justin and I don't trust Verge. So, I'd just like to verify a few things on my own so that I can put my mind to rest Did you know they have legacy BTC accounting code? Lots of places there can be a fuck up of balances. Also, I guessed about the negative balances because I saw that too and had the same idea to check. Was going to ask the Verge Telegram group but I don't think they'd want to support some one figuring out their code is janky

Where did you see that xvg announce about BTC core? It's getting ridiculous.

Omg, it have been announced by XSH weeks ago. In this case XSH need to prepare some suprises in the 0.16 code for this sunecock ctrl+c sucker.

So sheild, a coin forked from verge has more competent devs and made the fix and then the verge devs took that and committed it and now won't admit they used the shields team code to fix their shitcoin? Is that what is happening? Why not just say, "yup we can't code but shield guys did it for us, thx".

What is a Fork?
Someone takes the complete code of an existing Cryptocurrency and use it to make a new one.
So am i right when saying, first at all, XSH copied everything from XVG?
BTW, i am with you, XVG needs to be some change in there DEV-Team, otherwise they will get big problems in future.
But this "who-copied-from-whom"-game is a bit ridiculous for both, XVG and XSH...
Just my two cents...

No first off it was Bitcoin and then Pivx and then Verge and then shield or pretty close to that. Either way Verge is nothing but a fork of another coin that was originally a shitcoin named DogecoinDark. Forking Code bases is how you build on and expand existing projects into other projects. For instance lets say I wanted to make Monero with Masternodes then I would fork the Monero code base which was originally the Bitmonero base which in turn was the Bytecoin base and then I would add the code for Masternodes which I think is in the Darkcoin base. Understand? Now don't get this confused with Hard Forking the chain as that is a separate deal altogether.

They wont change anything. Sunerok already made millions $ by this copy pasting coding, false promising and direct lying. Why would he change it when people still buying it? In fact he doesnt give af about verge being hacked for millions $ now. He just smile on that.

Too hard to use math properly when you got used to just ctrl+c and ctrl+v. It seems they used math properly to reach the announced max supply of Verge... It seems not too hard to spread FUD, just for destructive reasons... Bitcoin Gold and Monacoin networks has been attacked recently too. Maybe you guys want to spread some FUD there too? Or did you do that already? Or do you do that just to spread around links to the scam coin in your footer?

This answer is nearly exactly what i expected from you Spreading FUD, and if someone gives you facts, you start to insult... BTW, this thread is about the attack on verge and constructive posts about that. It is neither about insulting the verge dev or any other people nor about spreading FUD...

Summary for this whole xvg shitshow from me is this:
The best thing we can do is start ignoring this shitcoin. All they have left is hate attention. They have no new tech, promised partnership of the century became just payment option for porn (lol) , they have been hacked twice eventhough they were alarmed after first hack and also adviced how to fix the bug in code.Lead dev lied many times about delivering roadmap features, some of them undelivered since June 2017, lead dev lied about spending donated millions $ from comunity on Ledger integration...etc etc. Just let it die. Bad marketing is also marketing. So lets just ignore xvg and dont waste time on such shit to feed their grow by our hate.

Would be a great thing, if the haters could just ignore it. I always wonder, if there is nothing constructive you guys could do with all that time wasting spreading hate and FUD... We will see if it will die then.
