I would go for a YES here. I too have altcoins but right now it's only for a profit but if the team and purpose of the altcoin is good and will do something to our society then I would definitely want to support it.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

For the meantime I only play swingtrade with altcoins.  I play bullish with BTC.  I guess the right time to place your money with alts is on March to June. This is the alt season where all alts are pumping like crazy.

Its not good to stay hold in alts now while alts are bearish heading its dip.

From a "lets make the world a better place perspective" should we support only bitcoin right now or altcoins also?

I think supporting multiple "agendas" may be handy in some situations for example. If you can manage to support both, then why not ? It depends on your capacity to multi task. Also, does supporting 2 at a time benefits your personal needs ? The answer is yours to find out.

Only a few altcoins deliver unique features other than bitcoin.Other than that, all the remaining are just trash coins just created to make some quick profits. Some coins like monero, zcash provide full anonymity which is lacking in bitcoin.Ethereum is useful for smart contracts. We could support altcoins too,but we should check before whether its worth or not.

I'm not a big fan of Speculative currencies. But if there's a currency worth backing for(something that serves a purpose/solves a problem), I would. I'm backing a lot of altcoins now.

If you come here to ask this question, you won't go far in trading.
Altcoins are the only thing that will make you rich, Bitcoin is just a support

Bitcoin and Altcoin too.
We all absolutely must support it, I thought that was the best way to lift its popularity.
they (all altcoin) may be of remarkable potency.
So, everyone can make the most of altcoin potential.

Of course, they will be a part of the Digital currencies in the future, but some of the Altcoins aren't good to support with those that are called "Shitcoins".

I think it would be wrong to invest only Bitcoin. Each of the altcoins is a crypto money for a new idea and i find altcoins valuable because firstly a new idea is introduced us. I also think altcoins will reach very high prices due to future developments in the projects.

Yes we have to support altcoins too keep the bitcoin alive, some altcoins also have good potential so the price of them will increase in the near future so if we invest on them then we can earn good profit as well.

I think knowing the value of altcoins first is the best. In our era today we are engaged in different crytocurrencies. Choosing the right one and smart thinking is always the best . That's my only opinion. Thanks.  Smiley

Yes I am  a  supporter of altcoin, I suggest you should as well capitalized in this currency as it os still undervalued, I believe that next year is the year when altcoin breaks out just like what happend in bitcoin today. I believe that it is healthy for coins to perform well for the benefit of crypto market in general.

I choose both. bitcoin for long-term investments, altcoin for short-term trading. My capital is limited, so I look for a coin by following the bounty. altcoin from bounty results I use for trading. I changed the profit to btc.

In connection with the fact that bitkoyn currently enjoys its popularity as the first crypto currency, it is now being paid close attention to the community and therefore it grows due to the demand for it.
At the same time, altcoyins are now underestimated, some projects using altcoyins at the stage of deployment and therefore still not shown themselves. However, altcoins are very useful and in the future have a good prospect for development. Therefore, along with bitkoynom, you need not forget about the altcoyins.

Definitely yes support altcoins, but be selective. Many altcoins now are supporting real world products and companies, they can also post much better returns than Bitcoin.

better we support both because what would be the bitcoin in the absence of altcoin, may not be like now, bitcoin and altcoin is a relationship that requires each other

A lot of altcoins have much better technologies than BTC. So currently altcoins are necessary. BTC is main criptocurrency and good tool for investment at present but its technology is rather weak

The blockchain is a very powerful technology and power lies with the each and every user using it. Even though we are fascinated by the Bitcoin so far, I am also expecting a huge role of alt-coins in various sectors so I would not underestimate the scope of alt-coins. However, to be honest, there are few genuine alt-coins out there and rest are scams so it is difficult as of now to find the genuine coins in the chaotic environment. Things will be clear and stable down the road and alt-coins will be an important part of the process.

Obviously we should support altcoin, because one of the bitcoin price controllers is altcoin, if altcoin does not exist then bitcoin prices will go crazy and can not be controlled because in monopoly by the owners of capital.
