I think since the very high rise of bitcoin prices in 2016-2017 the word HODL is starting to look because if compared price of bitcoin for the year-to-year, HODL is something to do and profitable. HODL or not it's also the decision of each of us and I'm also sure cryptocurrency has a good future when viewed from the technology that is blockchain.

Take it easy, I do too. I will withhold the bitcoin I have, until the bitcoin price back in December last year. let me those who do not want to hold bitcoin, that's their decision. they may want to profit on a scale by using the cut loss method.

Today's hold strategy can not create as high a profit as it did in the past. The current Crypto market is volatile as no one can predict their price. So rely on the experience you have to invest in Crypto, so you will succeed.

its depends on your style.. if youre an investor your strategy really is HODL for long term but if youre a trader ofcourse youll trade when you already have profit and just buy again at dip

The world HODL should always be applied on a case by case basis. If i am a day trader and my position is in a 10% loss, why should i hodl when there is another trade that can give me 15% ? This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.

Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore?

How can you say that bitcoin will never back to $20k? Its easy to analyze it Its all about Patterns Take a look of it on Dec 2016 Bitcoin pumps a little bit and dump again on Q1 2017 and then on Dec 2017 its pump again and now Q1 2018 its dumping so on Dec 2018 it will pump again and can increase up to $20k. Bitcoin is basically good for long term investment and in order to earn profits from this digital asset, a holder should be willing to keep it in wallet for a long time. The hold strategy is really good depending on how much cryptocurrency price you are holding, always remember that the profit you will earn will be always depending on the capital that you have today so more investments then means more profit.

Yes it is not actual and literal that you hold it because you can't touch it. Nevermind, hold strategy is really good but it depends on the amount you invest. If you invest a large capital then its good to earn a lof of profit and it woudn't hard because efforts are not required. Holding as long term investment is good strategy i think. Price will grow and its need time not in one night or in one day. Its take time because people always see the potential investment.
Bitcoin price can reach the price like right now, its need more than 7 years and the result is good for holder

I think people have been dormant this past few months ever since the start of the bear market, I guess the sudden decrease of popularity is because people are now more aware about BTC and cryptocurrency and they have settled in waiting for the right time of BTC to shine again.

Holding is not bad because it only means that you are patience enough to wait for you to earn more profit, there are a lot of traders in the market or not earning a huge amount of profit because they are eager to sell their coins immediately even if the price is not yet that high.
