FIFA WORLD CUP 2018?

The start of the world championship is is approaching and there is some friendly matches which have already been played and will be played in next few days. From yesterday games I would point out some interesting results :

- England 2 - 1 Nigeria
- Austria 2 - 1 Germany
- Sweden 0 - 0 Denmark
- Belgium 0 - 0 Portugal
- Iceland 2 - 3 Norway
- France 3 - 1 Italy

We can see that Germany is lost and also Iceland, which may be a surprise, but in friendly matches when coaches are entitled to at least six changes of players everything is possible. France is play good game and win convincingly against Italy with early score from Samuel Umtiti in 8 min, followed with penalty score by Antoine Griezmann in 29 min and last score by Ousmane Dembele in 63 min. Leonardo Bonucci is score for Italy.

Today we have few more games but just few interesting., Brazil is playing against Croatia on neutral ground (England) and this should be good game to watch since both teams have very good players and second interesting game is Spain vs Switzerland.

You can't really judge these matches as these are just friendly matches , win or lose there isn't going to be any effect on the team. We have seen in past also coaches experimenting new players , different formation in matches like these. If germany is underperforming in their group matches then only we can say they seem to be lost

Good players are on the bench waiting for world cup games, why to risk and put good players in the friendly game. They can get injured, and its better for them to rest after long season. That's why I don't like to bet on friendly games, first squad is never full, players don't give their maximum, and it's tricky to take money on friendly matches.
I don't worry about Germany in group stage, they will win south Korea and Sweden easily, against Mexico it will be interesting to see what will they do, I wouldn't underestimate Mexico.
Germany is one of the favorites for 1 place, maybe this is just a strategy, like they lost game, they are weak, but when they show up on world cup they will make some miracles.

Obviously i don't understand why are people underestimating Germany, it's just common sense if they let their all star team play in friendlies and if anyone get's seriously injured they might lose that player for the rest of the tournament. We can see in today's match also they have put neymar in subs as this match has no value to them

Neymar is back, and what a goal he scored today against Croatia...First half, Brazil was decent, although that midfield with casemiro, paulinho, and fernandinho was dreadful, no creative midfielder, I don't see them playing with those 3 in the WC. Second half was way better once Neymar came in...and Croatia is a completely different team without Modric, he's just so good. Overall, boring game.

In the last FIFA world ranking Germany is the first but Australia is 26th , this very Bad on players' psyche before  days  World Cup .
Germany must making reforms to compete for the title of cup .

Germany rather lost to Austria not Australia. Though it was a friendly, i donk think it's good for the defending Champions especially since they had some of their best players in the lineup for the game and even Neuer was returning for the side after a long term injury.

Naymar is back and it is comeback he could only wish for, beautiful goal and nice action which made a complete defense of Croatia completely duped. First half was better for Croatia, but when substitutes start in second half, game is interrupted too many times (12 substitutes in total), some first team players go out and new one just could not compete with players like Neymar. In last seconds Croatia is make big mistake with unsuccessful offside trap, and it was easy score for Roberto Firmino.

I would not say it was a boring game, just a a typical friendly match with one exception - few very hard fouls from Croatian players which are rewarded with yellow cards.

The team of Brazil is not like it used to be. On the last cup they gone well till Neymar didn't get a trauma, after that they couldn't recover and lost. I do not expect from Brazil this cup much, my favorite is Germany.

The Egyptian FA released a statement where they pretty much implied that Salah is going to play in the WC, the latest rumours say that he could miss the first round (group stages), some people say he could be out for 3-4 weeks (starting this week). I think he'll be out of the world cup, unfortunately.

That would sort of be useless because if he isn't able to play the group matches i don't think Egypt is good enough to qualify without him playing in the team. Seeing that they don't have a tough group they might be able to win it their only competition would be Russia and even Saudi Arabia they seemed to have improved a lot and can cause upsets

You need an entire team full of world class players and that's why countries like Brazil and Germany win (and why teams like Belgium should win). You need World Class strikers to put the goals past world class keepers and World Class defnders to stop them from even shooting in the first place  .

in the past Brazil were very success teams with able to be the champion 5 times in the history but after that their achievement were decreasing from years to years and currently some of people predict some of teams will able to beat Brazil but the tournament still has not beginning yet and every teams have equal chance to get the best achievement especially Brazil with several talented players at the teams then they should playing better

The decision was difficult between Sané and Brandt. The two have high quality but Brandt participates in intercontinental cup but in my opinion  Sane has great  speed in him and dodging but it is not useful for the total and often lack the final touch in front of the goal, which makes most attacks ends with no benefit, but despite the negatives it deserves to be on the bench, but I expect that there are hidden things non technical behind the exclusion Have a bad relationship with the coach and colleagues. So i think that love don't believe in Sane to help the  collective team like Draxler Muller and Reus.

wow! I forgot about Gotze...and they (Joachim Löw and his staff) probably did as well...tbh, can't take any chances with a player that's been unnoticed for so long. They didn't even include him in the pre-list of 27 players for the WC.

I doubt there's something going on behind the scenes. I honestly think Joachim Löw just wan't impressed with Sane's performance in the last few games with the NT, which were underwhelming to say the least.

... Many football stars will not be  traveling to Russia .

Salah could have a broken leg and his head dangling off by a thread and the Egyptian FA would release a statement saying they're optimistic he'll be fit for the World Cup. He's their only hope for them to get out the group so they're pretty desperate, but even with him I doubt they'll do much.

Salah will apparently will play for final group match against Saudi Arabia on 25th June if not on 15th June against Uruguay. I know that Germany is  a much bigger team like Spain, France etc. but we cannot say this that it would regain this title as they have it four years before. In last world cup, Germany was quite lucky because the playmaker of Brazil; Neymar Jr was not playing the final and without him the team is nothing as it was proved when Germany beaten Brazil by 7-1 but this time, he is playing the matches.
