An excellent first half from England, they outperformed Croitia and the early advantage made everything easier.But all this is not enough. There is another 45 minutes in which Croitia switched gears in and they made a comeback. I expected them to suffer more in the second half but no they showed us that they have the energy to play .The equalizer for the Croats came at a time when England was going to kill the match, the goal brought life back to Croatian players. Unfortunately, the English coach's substitutions have lost his form. Sterling was better next to Kane despite him missing a lot of chances but i did not see anything positive from his alternative Rashford and Dier was too heavy and never had any added. Perisic and Mandzukic were the man of the match no wonder why Mourinho wanted to get Perisic last season for 90M but Inter didn't back pff from their demand of 100M Euros.

Belgium had 60% possession and only 9 goal attempts while France had 40% possession and 19 goal attempts. I think Belgium's manager Roberto Martinez knew that his team might have problems in the back against the speedy French attackers like Mbappe and Griezmann and he tried to slow down the game with Belgium holding the ball more. I think he got his tactics wrong for the match though. Belgium should have let France be in their half of the field most of the time and then try to score on the counter attack.

Uh I knew it Belgium defense is really sucks and i'm not surprised that France won on that match. What I really mad is that france players wasting time so many times on 2nd half and the extra time. That mbappe last moment on extra time is hilarious though, wasting time and get yellow card.

Not only France but any team when get the first goal and they know that they cannot make another goal then it is only the best way is to waste time and win the match. This is the most common strategy of most of the big teams when competing with strong opponent. The final result should be to win it. Even Belgium was having more possession of Ball but even then they were not able to make a goal.

Now waiting for today match between Croatia vs England hope that Croatia win the match and make for Final and compete with France.

I wish Croatia to win this match to see them vs France in the final. I am fan of France I wish them to win Final. I was expecting a more attacking game from France in the semi but they didn't played according to the expectations. I hope they play well in the final.

I on the other hand am hoping that England win their game against Croatia so that they meet France in the finals, With Both England and France having won the tournament once and it was when they hosted it, The two will have an excellent finals.

It's definitely not comin home. What a ride this year's world cup has been so many upsets and so many teams rising to the top out of nowhere.
France vs Belgium looked one sided, the defense of Belgium couldn't out pace France's attack and hence costed them the match.

Yeah, Modric, Brozovic, and Rakitic took over the midfield and dominated the pace of the game. Once they had possession they were able to build plays with Rebic and Perisic (the latter was fantastic today), very different from the 1st half were England had ball possession and Croatia was simply sitting back just defending until HT.

Beginning of the 2nd half I had the feeling England was satisfied with 1-0, it seemed like they didn't want to keep attacking (?). On the other hand, Croatia pretty much went beast-mode in the 2nd half, the team showed some real spirit and absolutely outplayed their opponent, they kept gaining momentum with each minute, until the equaliser which ended up being a devastating blow as the English team couldn't even react, Croatia just kept the momentum going for the rest of the match and England couldn't keep up.

So not the final one expected France vs Croatia, England had the best change to win it, I don't think they'll get such a golden chance again but then they do what they do best crash out. I'm so glad I didn't play yesterday match, so it's a definitely a tricky contest and France should not expect a walkover though they're the favourites I would yet not consider them winning easily.

Lmao my prediction also fail, I thought the final match will be Belgium vs England but it was completely opposite, the final world cup 2018 is France vs Croatia. That sucks though, England lose by extra time and the goal by Mandzukic. I thought it will ended with penalty.

Yes France have the better players and will be the fresher team on Sunday, but it is this kind of talk that motivated Croatia to put on an inspired performance against England. If you have listened to Luka Modric's post match interview, he said that the press (mostly the English press) underestimated them, especially with fatigue, this even fueled them even more. I love that sort of Spirit.

This is no surprise, Croatia have extraordinary players who play in best European clubs and England is completely deserved to lose this semi-final, especially after they are underestimating the opponent in this game. Yes, this is world cup and i'm sure Croatia will play their best on the final, also anything can happen in soccer. Well it's normal though man people choose France to be the winner on world cup 2018 because they have many good players and the result on their recent match are good. What i hope in the final is some drama, maybe 2-3 red card lol and have pinalty shotout.

I was really surprised by the fortitude of the Croatian team. England didn't have a shot on goal the whole match and extra time except for that goal scored by Trippier. Okay now unless some major botch-up happens France should be the winners. Croatia have had so much luck it's unbelievable.
