Just got my DHL confirmation they are on their way to UK Doesn't appear to have a replacement S3 on the shipment for my faulty S3 from batch 2 Out of interest how much did the last S3's work out on import and VAT to UK buyers? On my batch 2 order it was £160 GBP making the S3's expensive. @ allcoinminer, I will test the blades and controller on the faulty S3 tonight and post back the results.

Just wondered if anyone on the Batch 5 S3 order has recieved any shipping updates? Nothing via email and the shipping status on their website is still "unshipped"? Many thanks I had a very late B5 S3 order and mine left Ontario California via UPS several hours ago with expected delivery tomorrow.

Paid 850 NOK in taxes for 4x S3 Guess that was cheap considering they do 25% import tax on *

Anminer s3 bricked after firmware upgrade..... a firmware upgrade was performed on my s3 and now it seems to be bricked. no way to login to it in current state. not really sure what protocol seems to be at this point i have contacted Bitmain several times (on bitcointalk, the bitmain site, and via RMA email) about this issue with no response. aside from using it as a paperweight, anyone have suggestions on how to fix or get it going once again...is this s3 bricked state even fixable ? thanks in advance for all input and help.

Hi,
I have been running a brand new s3 since Monday...seems to be running smooth....
...except the "bestshare" hasn't moved from 0 yet.
Should I be concerned with this?

Bitmain
When will the S-1 upgrade kits be available???
I would expect to see them as soon as the demand for S3's reduces. At the moment Bitmain are putting all their boards into the S3's but as soon as the demand drops they will have spare boards that will no doubt be offered as an upgrade kit for S1's. I am just guessing here but would expect to have to replace the boards and move the heatsink across so you will probably need some new thermal paste, the S3 probably uses the same controller so just a firmware upgrade should fix that. I have no idea how many batches of S3's there will be but maybe someone could help out by letting us know how many batches of S1's were made, this would give some rough guidance as to when the S3's will slow down and therefore when the S1 upgrade kit will be available.

Chances are very less to brick. Did you switch the power supply off while the upgrade was happening? The possibility is that your miner ip reset back to the default 192.168.1.99. And try with that ip address If that's not working you may possibly have an ip conflict. Do a factory reset via the small button in front of your S3.

I have 8 Antminer S3 coupons.
Value:= 0.075
Looking 0.06 for each coupon.
Not worth the time for that kind of margin. It's a coupon not a gold coin.

I hope someone can help I have a Antminer S2, it has been running fine for the past 2 months, yesterday it just stopped hashing. I reseated all the boards and re loaded the firmware and reset but still nothing. It seems the main board might be faulty, when I start it up the red light and 4 green lights on the main board light up and flicker as it boots up the 4 greens lights go off and all the fans go off, on the display screen it has the IP address and 0GH/s and 0 degrees in the temp. I have emailed Bitmain a few times with photo's and a video of what is happening but haven't heard from them.

Have you replaced the total-crap, underpowered stock 1000w Enermax PSU yet with a more suitable 1200-1300w PSU? If not, you might want to try that first.

I think I fixed the problem, I think it is the heat sensor in the main board, I un-ticked it in the settings page and it is now working.

SSH into it and use screen -r to see what's up.

When can we expect the S4 Will it have a competent PSU such as a Corsair AX1200 If not, can it be bought sans the PSU I have a dead S3 giving this message. Is there something I can do to fix it /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/'. The called action terminated with an exception: /usr/lib/lua/luci/sauth.lua:87: Session data invalid! stack traceback: [C]: in function 'assert' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: in function 'dispatch' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>
