Whats the point of stake and multiply a coin with no buy orders? Even if i become a PAC millionaire, no one will buy me a coin. :|
buy orders will come in as soon as the price move up to 2satoshi or doge/pac ltc/pac trades reopen

They have a pretty good blog but what are the rumors on the big announcement? It has to be more than just the upgraded wallet and coin swap news. Is there any possibility we could get a Bittrex listing in 2018?
Everyone should let Bittrex know to add Paccoin. Its in the top 100 according to coinmarketcap.

What I dont understand is: what will be the advantage for early buyers like me after the coin redemption? I mean if this is only a 1000:1, and the value of a coin reach 0,04$ in place of 0,000004$, my earnings are still the same... The only advantage is that Pac will be more tradable with btc? But are we sure people will buy it at, for example, 0,04$?
I'm sure I miss something, but if someone can explain...

Read some earlier posts in this topic and read the updated website and the draft of the roadmap etc. Reading will let you learn all that you asked.

As far as I know, no. If someone knows how to do this, can you please do so, it could be a great help.

I also think paccoin has some utility. It can be used as a medium of exchange too. These should make it viable in the future

Some other coin allows to get POS reward even if you keep your PC off, like NEO/GAS.
So my question is if for some reason my PC gets offline, will I get POS reward?
Do I have to be online for 30 days in a go or consecutively, or 30 days of age of the coin is ok if it is untouched/not spent for 30 days?

There is no advantage for early birds. Personally - I bought weeks ago, now I'm just waiting for that last little push to 3 SAT or beyond before the burn so I can sell my coins and buy from the exchange post burn. EMC2 did a burn and look what happened to them. You never know what will happen with the value of a coin once the supply is tampered with. I hope someone from core dev realizes how detrimental a burn would be to the original holders. In the world - there is $60 trillion in total. I don't see how Pac with it's trillion supply would be unable to get to $0.01

so if I put in 1k I would get about 6.1 million coins @1 sat, for redemption I would get 6100 coins, and they say it would be worth .10cents, meaning my 6100 coins are now worth $610 making me lose money, but if I didn't buy and bought 1k worth after remdemption I would have 10k coins. any help with this is welcome or maybe my math is off?

IMPORTANT MESSAGE
As of now the official PACcoin Twitter channel is @paccoinofficial. Therefore, a previous Twitter channel (@paccoindevs) was closed this morning but has now been reopened and hijacked by someone who asks you to send your coins to him, because the redemption would be today. This is a scam. Do not send your coins to this address. For the most recent information concerning PAC visit @paccoinofficial This channel also contains all the latest news and a clear timeline of upcoming events.

Can someone help? I feel really stupid. The FAQ says:
Do I need to decrypt my wallet for staking ? Yes, go to help —> Console and type walletpassphrase yourpassphrase 999999
Does this mean to really type "yourpassphrase" or am I supposed to have a passphrase that I substitute in there? I don't remember making a passphrase.
If it helps, my getinfo says: { "version" : "v0.1.5.0-unk-beta", "protocolversion" : 60007, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 15483336.45641200, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 2614342, "moneysupply" : 3429209221462.24902344, "connections" : 18, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "72.222.147.199", "difficulty" : 12734.84166331, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1514881243, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "errors" : "" }
I just want to make sure I'm staking.
If you want to use your wallet for staking, you will need to add the following command to your paccoin.conf file: staking=1 Also you will need to leave your wallet unlocked. If you already locked it, you will need to transfer your paccoins to another wallet that has not been locked. Thanks. The default .conf file says: maxconnections=120 staking=1 # Change this to 0 if you want to disable staking. gen=0 # Change this to 1 to mine PACcoin local on your computerSo I think it's all good. But in my getinfo, is Stake=0 just because the coin age is only a few days?
